I've been using my dad's pickup, I've gotten used to him calling me randomly in a panic ๐บ๐to use it to do increasingly random things.
Yesterday, I went to his house๐กto cut down a tree๐ณ He hands me a stihl farm boss gives me the keys to a kubota tractor fitted with forks and tells me he's gotta go to work ๐ ๐ซก
Mind you, everything I know about chainsaws: watch the tension, Stihls are good, and fine sawdust means the chainโs probably shot.๐ง๐ผโ๐ฌ๐ง๐ผโ๐
So I'm operating the tractor, lifting trees, it felt pretty bad ass. Until my dad checks in he's like where the fuck are you gonna dump all these logs? The dump is only open on Sunday
I'm like YOU called ME here!
"Well, I don't want all that weight in the back of MY TRUCK all week" I'm looking at him like ๐
"OH YEA WELL I DON'T RESPOND WELL TO YELLING!!"
"OOHHHH WELL YOU BETTER GET USED TO IT PAL!"๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ
So I'm looking at all the logs and I'm like whatever I'll figure it out.

So I come up with a plan. I have a friend who's a contractor, I asked him if he wanted to drink beer and play with the chainsaw knowing that as an electrician, he wouldn't be able to resist an effectively endless supply of free wood.๐
And we ripped through the work until my dad comes back and I almost went the whole conversation without him seeing the beers until he wanted to play with the chainsaw too. He must have been having a stressful day working from home.๐คท๐ผโโ๏ธ
So he sees the beer and I'm ready to get chewed out and then he tells me a story about how he almost chopped his leg off because he was drinking in someone's yard "skipping" ๐บ๐พaround rocks and debris when he tripped and got lucky when it didn't cut through the pants leg.
Which somehow ended in us drinking goose island ipa and taking turns cutting up logs with the farm boss.
Then we went to my friends place, burned several hundred pounds of wood with friends and stayed up all night playing wii bowling and doing karaoke. ๐บ๐พ๐ซถ๐ผ๐คโ๏ธ
The end.
