Do I have housing rights as an unpaid caregiver in an abusive home?

I am autistic I take care of a cranky elderly relative. I don't want to be here but don't have money to leave. I can't make a meal or get a Drink out of the kitchen for several hours at night because he can't concentrate on the tv. He frequently kicks me out then follows me outside and bangs on the car window asking me why I am out there.

I tried to hide shelf stable pop tab stuff in roomm and he hid it and made me earn it back. He hides his own stuff in room and says I stole it and I am a liar. He said he will unplug a mini fridge if I get one for my room.

I was supposed to be given a stipend and a car. But he takes the money other family gives me and makes me beg for it back. He throws a tantrum every time I ask for it. He sounds drunk all the time but doesn't drink.

He says can't stand me he hates me but he doesn't want me to leave because no one else will do it. He is also very religious and always saying I am going to eternal damnation I am subhuman. I have a negative spirit and I have to be more positive and he won't scream.

All the other nurses quit. He has been tested for dementia and doesn't have it. I tried to show the Dr and he dismissed me. The cops were not helpful.

The hoa complains about our lawn I mow it and he screams and throws a fit and I get a ticket for him disturbing the peace. They gave me a ticket for sitting in the garage and on my porch. I ignore it because I am not screaming he name is on the lease why doesn't the hoa give him the tickets? what would you do? my friend is helping me get out secretly. My family wants me to stay here? I don't want to stay here. what would you do?
