I generally don't make friends with women who are in relationships or married anyway. I don't see much of a point in it. There is only one I have a mild connection with, but for the most part if one gets into a relationship I will kind of start distancing myself. It just feels sad staying friends, even though I'm not into them for more than that. It's still just kind of sad. Plus they aren't really much fun to be around at that point anyway.
Any other guys feel the same?

I will never be real friends with women I’m attracted to. Especially if they were first single when I first met them and later started dating someone else.
I went through this a year ago when a woman I met organically started dating a different guy a week later. I stopped talking to her beyond hello. It was very painful/awkward when I saw her, but I didn’t want her thinking I would be okay with friend zone. No and hell no.
I will be friendly but not “friends”. Big difference there that many women don’t understand.
Some guys will become “friends” with taken women with a hidden agenda: they could be next in line when after girl leaves the current guy she is dating.
I find that morally wrong because there is usually emotional cheating before the physical starts.
Not unless it's necessary. I had a ladyfriend i knew since highschool. We re-connected on facebook and our back and forth was like we were never apart. But her husband didn't like our chumminess. And i can't say i blame him. So we don't talk now. I miss her. But i don't want to be the cause of problems between them.
Yeah that too. The husband getting jealous.
I probably don't because I never get that close to females apart from relatives or colleagues.
Yes, Because I want her Husband to have peace of mind!
And I want her relationship to prosper
once they get married they are not much interested in being friends with me.
Which makes you wonder if they ever really cared to be a friend to begin with.
@ManOnFire I had a female friend that was engaged to my roommate. When they broke up i stayed friends with her. We used to kid each other and said if we were both unmarried when we turned 30 we would marry each other. Oddly enough i really thought that it might be a good solution.
Not particularly
