Not at all but my wife and I all hang out together with my friends. They become hers, and we largely shared the same friends starting out anyway since we were part of the same social circle. Yet if I make a new female friend, I introduce my wife to her. My wife does the same if she makes a new guy. She'll introduce him to me and we all start hanging together.

My wife and I are both rather greedy people when it comes to friends. We like to make new ones all the time: both sexes.
