if a shy guy is interested in more then friends?

he texts a lot. daily. usually about 100+ texts. flirts via text but not in person. in person he talks a lot, but its random conversation about movies and general topics. via text he talks about everything from randomness to sex.

we've been friends for about a year. hanging out for the last couple months, but only a few times.

shy guys are very nervous in person when it comes to talking about feelings and flirting, we find it like 50x easier to do it by text, we don't get all nervous and choked up that way. I text my friends, but I've only ever text a girl that much when I liked her. as for random subjects, well he just is making conversation because he doesn't know how to flirt very well. I went 4 years doing exactly what he is doing with one girl. and it became the best relationship I ever had. so to answer the question, he likes you, he's sending like ALL the shy guy signs. hope it helps :)

it does. every time I start to think he's into me, we hang out and nothing at all happens. nothing is said, nothing is done, and I start thinking I'm misreading signs. he texts me everyday, first on his lunch break, and then after work over a few hours til he falls asleep.

that's because he's shy and scared to death rofl, been there... go on another date, and this time, initiate it yourself, lean over, kiss him, hold his hand.. any of those will work, once he's confortable with being affectionate face-2-face it'll go really smoothly,

ps don't expect him to know A THING about dating! odds are he will make mistakes.. often... we aren't exactly gifted at it, we are romantic, but we screw up. if he screws up just tell him, nicely , in private what he did, and tell him what you want him to do instead. it will improve your relationship like tenfold :)

I don't expect perfection. it would get boring. I like that he's nerdy and awkward. he's sweet. better then romantic anyday. its cute as hell. I'm pretty shy myself, so just being like blam kiss...not my style.

ahh I think he's amazing. I've told him that a few times lol. and I always respond and flirt back. its just I'm shy too so in person I tend to follow his generic conversation lead.

Could you ask him out in a more subtle manner? Maybe write him a note or make a scavenger hunt or something? Or even via text, since you're both so comfortable in that medium.

Come on are you seriously asking this? What normal healthy human being would waste their time texting you 100 times a day? Of course he got a thing for you. FLirting through text is much easier than on the phone or in person.

its a serious question...he doesn't show any signs of interest in person, other then talking a lot. and I've never been around a guy that's not just point blank said something if he was interested.
