My ex wants to be sex friends

We dated for a year and a half. He cheated on me three times. I was stupid to stay. I still care about him but I want to move on. What do I do?

Do NOT be his "sex friend" or any other type of friend. I reayyolize how hard it is to get past year ex. I was with my ex for 5 years, we owned a house we were 4 months away from our wedding when I found out he was cheating on me. It killed me! It hurt like hell. And I tried to talk to him and 'be friends' with him at first. But finally I realized that he didn't deserve to be friends with me. If he really loved me and respected me he wouldn't have cheated on me.

And the same goes to you. He does not respect you. He wants to have sex with you. And he is going to use you to cheat on the next girl. And at the end of the day you won't feel any better about yourself. Move on, ignore him and don't respond when he contacts you. You deserve to find someone who WILL respect you and love you. And it will probably make that guy jealous when it happens. And that's the best revenge.

I'm not going to lie to you and say it was easy or that overnigh things just got better. It was horrible, I felt terrible for a very long time. What was so difficult was that I didn't just loose our relationship, I lost the house that we owned together and had to move back in with my parents. I lost his family which I was closer to than he was. So all of that was hard to move on. I started dating again a couple months later and that was a nice distraction. But it was a long road.
