I accidentally friend zoned my crush and now we don't talk.

Is I decided that since he "liked a different girl" which turned out to be a lie. That I'd tell him that I like him but wanna be friends. So, I friend zoned him but I didn't know that! After that we haven't spoke. Worst part it was a text message. But in school it's the same thing everyday both of us stare @ each other. Not only that but non-stop talk about each other to our friends. How do I know he does? Well both of our best friends ease drop. Neither of us knew that they teamed up. They wanted us together but every time something happened like if he called me (he did in the beginning) I'd be sick so my phone was off. Even trying to get one of us to start talking to the other but nothing. Now I blocked him on Facebook and deleted his # and my friend said he knows? Which is why he looked mad today ugg please help me figure this out. I'm clueless when it comes to guys. I didn't even know I friend zoned him till my friend told me what I did.

Lol wow, I guess that's a lesson learned, huh? It's hard for some guys to recover after hearing the dreaded "I like you, but I just wanna be friends" line dropped on them. If the guy really was into you, that single statement alone could have crushed him through epic proportions. I suppose he was partly to blame for having given you mixed signals, i.e. telling you that he "liked a different girl". Not really sure why he would've said that in the first place, unless he was just shy when put on the spot.

There are several ways to go about this, none of them easy, none of them being the absolute "right" way, but if you want to try to mend the friendship back together then I suggest approaching him and admitting that both of you reacted rather stupidly, and that it would be better if you both started over. Furthermore, if you happen to be single and actually like the guy, then why don't you give him a chance to take you up on a date?
