Girl acting distant after hookup?

I'm gonna need to provide some back story here so bear with me. One of my good friends set me up with her friend for a sorority date function. I ended up meeting the girl the night before the function, we hooked up and I spent the night at her house. Naturally I thought the next night would also go well but she acted somewhat distant.

She wasn't exactly outright ignoring me but she seemed way less interested than the night before. I am really confused as to how her interest could change that much in less than 24 hours. We went to a party later that night and she started talking to a bunch of other guys (one who she had hooked up with in the past.) That kind of annoyed me so I eventually left.

I texted her the day after and we exchanged a few back and forth but that was it. I actually like this girl but I don't want to waste my time and have her ditch me for some other guy. I'm thinking I should talk to my friend and see what's up. Any advice is appreciated.

Im in a fraternity and refuse to date sorority girls. If you want a real relationship I strongly suggest you look somewhere out of the greek system. The girl I'm trying to date is a dancer and I'm sure she's what I look for in a girlfriend. Its too awkward to date a girl when she's hooked up with your fellow brothers and especially guys from other fraternities. Sounds like your girl is only looking to bang fraternity guys so she's not really ready to settle down. I'd say stay away and avoid getting hurt. All my bros brag about the girls they sleep with so the entire fraternity knows which girls are the easy ones. No offense but it sounds to me like your girl is one of the easy ones.

Talk to your friend; probably that's why he set you up, he knew she'd be a fun date, and she's probably known as a 'fun date.'

If she's used to hooking up a lot like that, she may become distant because she doesn't expect the guy to want more. You want more. Tell her you like her and you'd like to see her as more than just a one night stand. Ask her if she's got time in her life for something like that. Once you know where she stands with you on this, then you'll know whether or not it is a waste of time to even think about her.

She did not want a relationship to begin with, which is why she put out shortly after meeting him. Nonetheless, she is not relationship material, so he should not waste his time attempting to be exclusive with her.

I was actually led to believe the opposite. She's a senior and most of her friends have boyfriends and it's not secret that she's looking for one. That was partly why I was so confused by her distant behavior

QA, in that case, in the short time that you shared with her, she may have categorized you as hook-up material as opposed to boyfriend material.
