If a guy rejected me and is avoiding me should I talk to him an tell him that I want to be friends or forget?

About 2 months go I confessed to a guy that I liked him and he told me that we can be friends but he started to avoid me completely and sometimes he would say hi to all my friends and won't tell me ( this really makes me sad) and the thing that bothers is that he won't even look at me and it makes me wonder why? What have I done to deserve that? I am not expecting anything from him I just want to be friends again

More details: was there anything on his behavior that made you think he might also be interested ? What kind of a guy is he in general... how is he treating people around him? Does he genuinly care for those in the group?

The context in which you told him: did you just took him by surprise when you confessed ? Did he look like stuttering when you told him, lost for words or ... what was his attitude?!

Let me tell you: as brainless as it may seem. There's a chance he might actually like you.

Some girl acted just like your guy after I told her. She said the exact same "we are friends" stuff and then started to act diff.

Trust me some do that. they don't expect you to pop the question or confess, they freak out and say no.

no I don't think he was interested at that time, he is a extremely funny guy and a little bit shy and he can be uptight sometimes, he treats all my friends(girls) very friendly especially after I confessed and he is generally very fun to be around

honestly yes he was really surprised because he told me that himself, and he told me that " you are the last person I expected to have feelings for me" when I told him he paused for a while and then he complimented me and now he is avoiding me

it's weird that he somehow pays more attention to the others but avoids you. I really think he was seeing you diff than other girls because he said "you are the last person I expected...". You just try to act normal and if he doesn't snap back to his senses then talk to him. At this point there's nothing to lose. I really think he has feelings. I did that when I was 14. Girl confessed I just said no, and kept avoiding her. And then I happened to be the receiver of rejection and ignoring twice.

One of them actually confessed after a long time. The other one is kind of missing a bolt in her brain and she somehow thinks I have to make up for something. After being rejected and you ignoring me, I'm supposed to act like a puppy when I see you ?! No thanks ...

So the fact that he's not even looking at you means he's hurt in some way. I KNOW THE FEELING. I've been there. I wasn't looking and avoided her trying to look like I don't care when I actually was.

Try and say hi first, there's nothing wrong with that. You asked to be friends, so be friendly. But prepare yourself because he might not even answer back. It's about trying to figure out some signs. He might not talk as much. He might not get as involved with the group when you're around...
