So my boyfriends sister is rude to me. I been holding this in and haven’t said anything to his sister about this for 4 months. I gave her a birthday present and said happy birthday to her and she couldn’t say thank you to any of those things. I only got her a gift because it was her sweet sixteen. I commented on her picture and called her pretty and she couldn’t even say thank you. Ever since my boyfriend asked her questions about me she stopped liking my Instagram posts. She use to like them and now she doesn’t. I don’t want my hatred towards her to ruin our relationship. I don’t want the rest of his family to hate me if i talk to his sister about these problems. What should I do? Should I talk to her? She has a cheer competition tomorrow. I was either going to talk to her today or the day after her competition to cause her not to have stress at competition. When should I talk to her?

Conceiving your own children is probably preferable - the bonding can start at conception and from that time you share family history and relatives, they will inherit some of the looks and talents of their parents, which is nice … but also they may not.

Adopting a child can be the same but different. They inherit nothing physically but it’s amazing what they can pick up from you - habits, mannerisms, tastes etc.

I’m probably one of the few who would rather date a loner. Part of it is because I hate for us to have to split time in various ways (work, family, hobbies, etc) so the less friends, the better for me 🤷‍♀️ Now if the guy has long term friends who he's grown up with, im fine with that. But i really dont like people who meet someone that same year and act like thats their new best friend who means the world to them. I don't know it just seems questionable to me. Tbh, I stopped trying to make friends after college. Now i just like to be acquainted and have someone to vent to or ask advice. I really just need the SO to be my best friend (and more of course). I mean I still have those 3 cousins who i talk to every now and again but thats better than nothing. They’ve been around since birth and thats all I really need. I had 4 good guy friends who lasted 6-8 years each but our jealous SO’s split us apart after some time. I also had 2 good friend girls who lasted 3-7 years but one slept with my dude and the other said I wasn't sanctified enough for her. After that, every girl i came across tried to get at whoever I was crushing on. So i really dont trust females and keep my distance... Back in college, I dont know it was just something about seeing a guy sitting on a bench alone with headphones in his ears on the daily. I found that so dang sexy. Anyways, what about you?

Also, does it matter if they were invited or if they just did a surprise visit? Sorry but i wouldn't give up my bed for anyone. They’d have to get a nearby hotel. I personally dont invite anyone over unless a boyfriend anyway in which we’d be sharing a bed. Everyone else has the option to stay on the floor or couch but i wouldn't not offer that option since it seems uncomfortable. I was always the tallest girl in my class and I outgrew my mom in middle school. All the men on my entire dad's side of the family are very tall with the shortest of my uncles being 6ft. Everyone including the men on my mom's side are short. My nephews are definitely following the trend on my dad's side as they are very long limbed even at a young age like we were. Any family portraits we take all together make it clear who's who. I think my mom was a bit jealous that I outgrew her, but I love it. My grandmother used to always use me to get stuff down from high shelves so she wouldn't have to use a ladder.

Did you ever think about your height as kid and wonder if you were going to outgrow your parents? Are you still wishing you could? Are you in a family where you and your siblings have totally different heights?

My older sister never seems to be happy for me when something good happens in my life and she gets low key jealous when people around us start complimenting me about anything from looks, career or love interests.
People have approached me to ask me why does my sister hate me so much. These people are neighbors, church members and family friends. She pretends that she is such a great sister to me in front of my brothers and our parents so they can continue to laud what a wonderful sister she is to her younger siblings.
Some of things she has done were: Ruin my babyshower by using it as a rivalry with her ex bestfriend. By the time that shower ended, my family was divided and my aunt and my cousins didn't speak to us for over 5 years. She lied to everyone including my niece at her sweet 16 saying that she didn't know where I was when all along I was waiting for the ride she promised she'd send for me. My niece balled her eyes out the entire night thinking I flacked on her.
There's so much more but it would be way too long to write down. She's toxic and brings me nothing but negativity and stress to my home. She offers no support whatsoever and it feels like she only wants to sabotage me any chance she gets. She has told me to my face that I am not her sister 3x. When I tell my parents what she does, they say that I am acting this way because of my husband and they accuse me of being boy crazy for putting him first before family. This infuriates me! She's toxic! I feel its time to cut her out of my life. Ain't no way in hell would I have let her stick around this long if she was a friend and not my sister. Am I wrong if I do? Would you so the same? I feel like if I keep her around she's gonna betray me so bad that I may flip out on her.

Like maybe they really wanted to have a girl and they were disappointed when they had a boy, so they decided to dress him as a girl to satisfy, at least partially, what they wanted?

Do you think that may be the reason why some parents really do this, when they do it from birth?

And what about the parents that give in to an older child wanting to dress like a girl... what's that all about?

Many people do not have their grandparents in their life. But, if you do, do you see them regularly?

I see my grandparents at least once a week. Do you guys visit yours on a consistent basis?

This could involve many aspects of the friendship/relationship, like keeping secrets, cheating, stealing boyfriends or girlfriends, gossiping, not meeting your promises when your friend has met theirs, you're suppose to meet them somewhere and you never show up, etc.

Was there ever a time you avoided certain people in order to protect your peace?
