In the show, both Rue and Cassie lost their dads. Rues dad died from cancer (I think) which was part of the reason she became a drug addict.
while Cassie’s dad was a drug addict himself, and ended up leaving and not coming back (unless he needed money for drugs) which led to Cassie having daddy issues and constantly needing male validation

In a scene where Cassie was arguing with her mother, she said that her life was harder than (or just as hard) Rues because even though Rues dad died, Cassie’s dad CHOSE to leave them.

Do you have someone you can call when you have to move out and need help moving furniture and such out?

For example, I drop by at a close friends house some times without letting him know. He lives with his grandad.

If i can't see anybody through the window, sometimes I just go around the back and knock on the gate that leads into his back garden, and chill with him.

He's completely fine with it though. So is the grandad. We've all known each other for years now, and I respect their boundaries.

I also do the same with my auntie. We hardly see each other, but i still love her. I showed up to her house 2 weeks ago with a present when it was her birthday. There was no problems, she enjoyed my company and said i was welcome.

There's also been a period in my life where I'd just show up to friends houses and knock on their doors, back when i was like 15 and didn't have a phone.

Hello, I just 20 years old and in the military. Recently, I've been thinking about getting a vasectomy because I do not want kids. Well, currently, I am not sure if I will change my mind in the future. I never liked kids but I don't know. I want to see everyone else's opinion.

When someone just ghosts you do you feel thats more a reflection on the type a person they are then about you?

How close are you with your siblings? Do you hug each other specially brother to sister or sister to brother?
I gave my opinion on someone's question here and @elizamichale1 popped up as well and she did what she does usually, her answers were good and i liked them because she was admiring me as a best friend but in her replies she mentioned to hug me something like this

The person asking the question knew we are siblings, she replied we are weird and blocked me from replying further. Now what do you people think about this and do you think it is alright for siblings to hug and to be close with each other? Or there can only be certain situations where you can hug your siblings?

Maybe you're at a social gathering.. or at work or wherever and you overhear someone talking mad shit about someone you are good friends or a relative with and also know to be untrue as well.

Would you speak up and say something on your friend or relatives behalf?

Let’s say your parents/ family has a specific reputation in the community / a family business to the point your last name is very well known.

Whether they’re known for their religious ties to the community, a family business , influential and specific reputation. They have always supported you and may even support you as you go into a different path BUT they ask you to lie about it so they can keep their reputation.

What would you do?
