This is recent I stopped talking because there was too much tighting, fighting, threatening, violence, crying, ... If you look at a family and think 'Is this how you're supposed to treat eachother?' it's time to call it quits, so I did. Even during the times it went well, it turns out that I was still on edge, because when I left such a weight fell off my shoulders and I didn't realize that even during the good times I wasn't feeling 100 % good. Curious. That person is now depressed and I have grown cold. Depressed while I'm feeling okay and actually happy, I feel guilt, but I shouldn't, I know I shouldn't.

They kept saying really disgusting things that gave me chills.. after months of talking I’d opened up to him about my sexual abuse that happened when I was barely a teen, and his reaction was “that’s hot”. Then shortly after that I found out that he’d been abusing his ex but he was acting as if he was the victim.. I talked to his ex about it and she told me to get as far away from him as possible. So I just blocked him on everything out of the blue one day.
No, I can’t even remember the name of the last person I deliberately stopped talking to. I remember it was a girl in maybe 6th grade, but that’s all I remember. Oh I guess Mike! I remember vividly; Was just earlier. I'm talking to this woman & she's so shy she wouldn't look at me after initial eye contact. Went instantly red in the face. Exactly my type too :( I even tried moving, smiling & saying "I'm over here". She didn't even look at me when she handed me back the paper... I noticed her with friends later talking & they were all looking my way so I'll see where it goes:) I don't mind chasing awhile but I don't have much patience for games.
I still talk to them. It only once a month or so and the guy who used to chat with me - God told me to stop talking to him. I ghosted all my other friends cause I thought social media was dangerous so I rejected every single person who tried to have a conversation with me using public social forums where my personal info was available.
If you are referring to a permanent type of elimination of contact, a relative from my wife's side who will only talk if you agree 101% with his perception of everything. (She doesn't start any convo's with him either.)

The last person I stopped talking to is on this site. He's that guy I told you about who kept telling me he likes me. I said I was uncomfortable. He was hurt and said we should stop talking so I unfollowed him and stopped talking to him.
She was a toxic friend, I did stop the friendship years ago but she always came back and I gave in and I realized it was a big mistake and ended it for good.
