The Hype About Highlighters

Highlighters in makeup are a true staple. They make your face come to life - reflect the light just enough - be careful to have a light hand when applying these.

If you have dry skin opting for a cream or even better - liquid highlighter is the thing to do. You will - however - have to try them out before buying to make sure they don't accentuate your dry patches - this is one of the reasons why - in any case - it's vital to moisturize your skin - regardless of the makeup you do or don't use...

For those with normal skin - you're lucky...you can use anything. For a more matte look - go for 'rock powder' formula and for a more dewy look go for liquid or gel formula.

The gel formula semi-dries on your skin and mattifies it more than the liquid one...do if you're into that dewy look, but are afraid it will look more wet than dewy on your skin - go for gel.

A gel is great for those with oily skin - in my opinion even better than the mattifying one - because a gel has a certain staying power than a mattifying one doesn't - weirdly.
