@BrittBratt2416 Weight is a sensitive subject for everyone, especially when you're on the upper part of the curve. Being fat, no matter your gender, isn't something we should just "accept". We shouldn't sit here and just treat "being fat" as a situation, as equal. It's unhealthy for you, it's unhealthy for everyone and in the end it affects everyone.

Note, I do not call fat people disgusting. I am overweight myself, I am not happy about it but I also am not so hateful that I will bash myself down like some do. But by accepting your fat-ness, you end up in a horribly bad situation. You live shorter, your medical costs eventually rise and rise, and you can not participate in a great many of things both with friends and in society. Not because we don't >want< to, but because physically we aren't able to adjust.

I am a fat person, and I am against fat acceptance. Respect, sure. Accepting being fat? No fucking way.

While we need to work on it (I need to lose 80 lbs~), we do deserve respect. If that was the intent of the original post then that was missed. But I, as fat guy, am against accepting to be fat. I do not like that, I do not condone it and it is unhealthy. I am 6'6" w/ 330 lbs and my height helps a lot to mask the majority, but I am basicly carrying 100 lbs of excess weight due to bad habits.

Respect the fat people for being people? Yes.
Treat them differently because they are fat? No.
Fat acceptance? Burn that idea on the fucking pyre.
