Why I changed my hair length on men beliefs and why I doubt I will never change them again

I will share why I feel that men should walk with confidence and support short hair and not let their hair grow. Of course this doesn't apply in all situations and I am not condemning your choices but expressing why my views have changed. I will cover 3 points of emphasis.

Not a man's glory to have long hair

Long hair on men was condemned for a reason because it's not how men should look. Long hair is a woman's glory. We men can have long beard glory but lets have our women celebrate their long hair, please. Women deserve their glory and deserve desiring a man having short short. I used to mock and scoff at a woman's feelings and desires to have men with short hair and regret doing her that way. I will not call her out in this take but she knows who she is. Hair is one of the best ways to distinguish the males from the females. Call me a enforcer and evil all you want but I just had my son who just turned 5 on September 14th get his 1st haircut earlier today about 8 hours ago after my museum trip. Yes. He was born in 2014 and didn't have a haircut until today. It's how my sons will look from now on and he can choose when he is older which length he wants.

Balding displays it's not that important to men

Ever noticed that bald men or balding men will often not care and the ones who do usually just grow it longer to cover it up until it gets too long. Mine was 17 inches long until yesterday and now just 3 inches long. Yes, I'm using the Biblical length of fist length to be long, at 4 inches. I will never exceed 4 inches in hair length again. At least that's my plans. Women are embarrassed to lose hair but men are usually not. It shows this is how beauty is honored. Women love their tassels and fixing their hair. Men look like wusses when he grows hair more than halfway past ears. Men are constantly desiring hair on women and especially the sexier long lengths. Women may love men's hair but it's usually the fuller looks and not the very long butt length hair men have.

Military influences on valuing different hair lengths on men and women

Sure, you can call it unfair that they force men to keep hair less than 2 to 4 inches in most branches while giving the women the option to keep it long up to 18 inches, I think. Correct me if I'm wrong or she can shave it off if she wants, while men don't get that option. If a man is battling over those decisions on military hair length and jealous over a woman, can we honestly call him a real man or a man fit for battle in the military? Yes, I think women should not be allowed to keep it less than 6 inches but hey, it's more so about our men's hair as in the military, our men are still deemed our leaders.

Conclusions:

In no way am I condemning men who decide to have it long but I encourage you to consider a look for glorying for our Creator. I am glad my sister kept telling me I needed a haircut for the last 3 years because I was getting an attitude of do as I please and it all changed. Quite frankly, the time was nearing that she was going to lose her patience with me. I'm thankful she cared enough to verse me on the Corinthians claim Paul made that long hair on men brought shame on our Savior and no, Jesus was not a hippie, weakling who had hair to bottom of backbones. He was strong, spiritually inclined, loving and looked masculine. Thanks for reading!
