Girls, Fashion is for EVERY Body!

As women, we live in this insane world where our body is never good enough. We are too fat, too thin, too tall, too short, too everything but recognized as being normal. This isn't just about plus sized women either. Girls that are a size 00 get bullied for being thin too. There just is no look you can have that people ever seem to be okay with.

I worked in retail for 5 years when I was younger, and I was lucky enough to work in a size inclusive store wich ran XS to 4X, and I can tell you, fashion is for EVERY body. It doesn't just belong to one size or one height. Every woman wants to look good. Period!

As a tall girl, growing up for me was hard because there weren't really tall inseams at the time. My jeans and pants were always too short, and I hated it, but there came a change in the early 2000's where more and more stores started embracing tall sizes and alongside it came the VERY slow introduction of more inclusive sizing for all.

It's 20 years later and we are finally starting to see things like plus size mannequins in stores, more size inclusive brands, models shown on websites that are legitimately the size they are representing and varied heights and sizes of models that haven't been photoshopped to death.


We also have started to see the explosion of real people given the opportunity to show off the clothing either on their own or via company promotion that give you a more nuanced understanding of how the clothes fit and what styles are appealing.

We need more of this in fashion. Women do not need to hide or be embarrassed or shamed for whatever size they are, they need people willing to dress them and take their money like everyone else!
