clothes are important but hygiene is MUCH more important. to be honest, I prefer men who are dressed in well tailored and ironed clothes. I absolutely detest wrinkled clothing. I don't know I guess it was how I was brought up. my dad always said that it's unattractive to leave the house with wrinkled clothes. so pants and shirts were always pressed before leaving the house. that and combing my hair, brushing my teeth after every time I eat.
you don't have to spend a lot on the clothes that you wear. wear something that will exude confidence. a pair of nice jeans partnered with a graphic tee is what most guys wear. you can accessorize with a necklace, a bracelet, a belt with a nice buckle or a nice watch. I know when guys find a look they stick to that one look. change it up. the jeans and shirt is nice for a casual occasion like shooting pool with the guys. for a date, try a dress shirt. also, I don't know how some girls are fussy about shoes, but to me, it's important that a guy looks good from head to toe. most guys have everything taken care of except the shoes. I don't care what kind of shoes, it could be sneakers, skater shoes, dress shoes.what I'm getting at is if they're clean looking. some guys wear sneakers that have been with them since the land before time. lol if you can, polish those shoes, if not get an old tooth brush and gently brush the mud or dust off of them.
like I said earlier, you should wear something that exudes confidence and be comfortable in it. if you're gonna wear something to look hot and aren't comfortable in it. if you're having trouble finding what to wear, bring a female friend shopping with you. try EVERYTHING and be open to anything. I know that it's time consuming and can be frustrating but sometimes it's the best way to find that perfect outfit that you're looking for.
anyway.best of luck!

Clothes are VERY important to me. But I want to clarify that. I don't much care about the "style" of your clothes. I have been attracted to guys of pretty much every style there is, lol. I also don't care about labels. What do I care about?
The clothes are clean, in good condition, etc. (Unless the style calls for holes, etc., lol.)
The clothes fit right. Obviously this is going to vary based on what style you are. Some styles call for big and baggy, some call for tight fitting shirts and/or pants, others fall somewhere in the middle. So as long as it matches the style, I'm happy.
The clothes MATCH. Nothing worse than a person who doesn't know how to match, lol. Drives me NUTS.
And absolutely most importantly: the clothing style matches the guy. Basically just the guy is being "real" and not trying to be something he is not to fit in or trying to fit a trend.
So really more about being confident in who you are and letting your personal style reflect that. At least for me.

I think clothes are important to attract a girl and nicer looking clothes create a stronger physical attraction between two people. Nice clothes don't always mean expensive and well knwn brands but ones that are clean and not wrinkled and that actually fit the guy. However clothes aren' t the only thing that matter to a good appearance; hair and facial hair also create a better look. And because stereotyping a person based on their clothes is one of the easiest was to judge a person make sure you don't dress in ways that are unlike your personality because then people may think you are fake and you may attract girls that you might not find interesting or that would lose interest in you.
For me, Clothes do matter to some extent! As long as you are clean cut and have good hygiene then its all good. If a guy has an amazing personality - then clothes become an overruling option. As long as you are comfortable in what ever you are wearing then it shouldn't be a problem to anyone. Just be yourself.
unfortunately there are a lot of shallow girls who do care like my best friend is so judgmental on the way people dress its actually quiet mean! but me personally if I like a fella I don't care what he's wearing I like him for him not for his clothes.yes clothes can make all the difference but still they don't make a person who they are
