Why do girls wear sexy Halloween costumes?

Question

This question isn't to "slut-shame" anyone. I'm merely curious as to why a lot of women like to dress up in very proactive costumes. Surely they know that this will turn a lot of guys on.

I don't care what females say today, they can say I just want to look cute or because I can wear whatever I what, they can wear whatever they they want however they can still look cute without they're ass hanging out. The truth is they chose the sexy somewhat revealing costume cause they want to attract and look sexy and of course appeal to the male gaze or just grab attention.

But it's mostly done to look good for men. Don't let these women lie to you, most the crazy crap we do is to look good for the opposite sex or get some type of compliments from somebody. Like if I chose to my hair and make up right now and nobody said a word, I would be slightly disappointed cause I actually put work, time and effort into my appearance and feel like it was all for nothing.

When I was in high school I went all out and dressed as the joker, face paint, green hair chalk and everything. My two friends dressed up as two cute slutty animals. Us three went downtown together and these two really cute college guys came up and started flirting with them. For the next two hours I was 5th wheeling in my dumbass joker costume while my two friends were hanging with college guys (in High school that was a big deal) and I was walking behind them on the sidewalk all alone. While I like the idea of actually dressing up in a cool not slutty costume, i wouldn’t willingly repeat that experience. Girls dress slutty because guys give them attention.

Speaking intelligently, it's really all just in your head sweetie. A little change of clothing doesn't change how you look, it changes how you feel about yourself. If you feel sexy on Halloween wearing a skimpy little maids outfit (Or whatever you find sexy, I just other comments and found maids apparently are a huge fetish amongst some) why can't you feel sexy wearing blue jeans and a T-shirt? It's not you yourself who's changed, it's how the clothing made you feel that changed. Just take that sexy, arousing feeling you get from that naughty (Or not so naughty, idk) costume and remember how you felt wearing it and apply that to your everyday life. You're not switching bodies with a hottie sweetie, you are that hottie and always will be, costume or no, clothes or no, the only thing different is your way of thinking. They grow up thinking its normal and ok, not just on special occasions, but it seems to be everyday life as well, I see girls younger than 16 wearing reavealing clothes which shouldn't be allowed, and parents shouldn't buy it for their daughters.

On the other hand, anyone should dress however they want without any fear of being attacked (with criticism). It's that stupid phrase some idiots use when a woman is sexually abused/harrassed: "Look at how she dresses... She was asking for it." NO! You fucking numbnuts... They do it partially because they're too lazy to make a cool costume. (The coolest costumes I've seen are totally un-sexy). also, why not slut shame? If a fit girl goes strutting out in her birthday suit and you criticize it, you're "slut shaming." If she's fat, you're "fat shaming". People need to actually care about how they present themselves in public, and part of that involves feeling shame when you screw up. I think costumes should be classy.
