What looks Worst between a Beard without mustache or Mustache without beard?

I've heard that most people think stubble, full beard or clean shaven looks best, but a beard without mustache or a mustache without a beard looks worst. I'm wondering which one you think looks worst. #noMustacheVsBeard #FacialHair

If you have a beard but no mustache, you basically look like a guy from the US civil war period (think Abe Lincoln). Personally, I think that looks cool, especially when the bear comes with sideburns... but most people think it looks stupid. If your beard is very full but you have no mustache, you might also come across as an Amish guy.

Mustache without beard CAN look good on some young guys but most of the time, it looks super stuck-up. In Switzerland, we call this type of look the "police officer style". It's usually some mid-50s, very conservative, very stuck-up, philistine guy who reports his neighbor to the landlord for using the community laundry machine on the wrong day and makes sure nobody recycles glass after 10 p. m..
