Skip the tie. Wear a medium blue cotton button-up. Leave blazer unbuttoned, wear a very plain looking low heel and pantyhose.
If you can avoid it, do not carry a purse or if you must make it very small and conservative. Otherwise carry a black business case or portfolio of some sort. Always have your ID and Social Security card with you, copies of your resume on white or cream-colored paper only, one page unless you have a very long list of accomplishments that are germaine to the job. Take a black or blue rollerball pen for completing any application or questionnaire, and make sure it's just a normal pen, not one with Hello Kitty or something silly on it.
Do not wear perfume. Do wear mildly scented or unscented deodorant.
Use an attractive light or pink nail enamel, or french-manicure, have your hands and nails clean, filed and trimmed. No designs.
Put your hair into a conservative ponytail, or if you have shorter hair, just be sure hair is clean and neat.
Wear the most boring, conservative gold tone or silver tone earrings you can find, only ONE earring per ear - if you have extra holes, take the jewelry out before you go in for the interview.
Also have a list of at least 3 people who can give you a reference. It always looks good to have your Pastor listed as a reference, and hopefully your other references will be people you have done work for in the past, or at least worked with. Do not list family members as references unless you have worked for them.
Also have a list of all the dates of your previous employment, and volunteer work with complete, up-to-date address, phone number, website and e-mail address of each company. Similar with your educational background.
Do research on the pothential employer and on the position you are applying for so you have pertinent things to say.
Have a list of 5 questions you want to ask the interviewer. Good ones to ask: describe their corporate culture, what training will consist of, when they expect to be making a decision. Do not ask about salary until you are given a tentative job offer. You can look online for ideas about questions to ask them.
Be sure to take the business card of your interviewer and send them a simple, handwritten thank you note on simple, formal, conservative looking stationary, and mail it the same day or the next.

It looks really severe and the example is kind of porny... I can see how it would work in certain professions but it wouldn’t be many.
If you’re wanting professional attire I’d either go for a tailored lighter suit, like a grey or navy or a black sheath/peplum dress with a different coloured blazer
Not the one in THAT picture.
It is extremely ill-fitting, which makes it look like she shopped in the men's section for it, and her glasses don't look professional, they look a bit hoe-ish, like something a sexy secretary from a movie would wear. Her tie is a bit too thick, I think a thinner one would suit a feminine outfit more.
I think this outfit looks like a cabaret costume.
This outfit is something you might be able to pull off, but I recommend asking a wardrobe consultant to put together a version that looks like a formal outfit.
No, I don’t like how it looks and don’t recommend it for a job interview. I think for a job interview, business casual is appropriate so a nice top and a skirt would be okay, but it really depends on the woman. I just think the suit and tie style fit men more and women can wear something equally as stunning and professional without being a shirt and tie. Just look up some apparel of women in a business casual outfit on google and you’ll see what I’m on about.

You don't have it right! Shorter skirt, above the knee, softer blouse, maybe satin? Waist-length jacket! Something more 'FEMININE!' and less RIGID!!!
And definitely a more 'approachable' facial expression!! :) :)It looks good for editorial photo shoots. Most interviewers won't appreciate the aesthetic appeal-they'll just want you to look decent and normal.. unless you work somewhere cool!
Blazer is fine, business pants are fine, pencil skirt is fine.
But tie and suit, that's pushing it a little.Looks good because you can fuck it off her. Looks good. Job wise hey it's your freedom to look like a freak. That's what hipsters and closeted homosexuals are all about. Plenty of other confused friends you can make.
I love women in suits it's so sexy but I'm also a femme bi. So yeah seeing women with a hint of masculinity gets my heart racing haha.
That girl is not looking her best...😬 but to answer the question... yes, we do ☺️💕 I prefer the full pantsuit rather than the skirt tho.
Maybe it looks good on some. This woman clearly can't pull it off as well as she wishes she could.
Some, sure, but not all. I don't think the pictured one does.
The girl from the picture doesn't look good. Anyways, I think without the tie is better, or a nice blouse with suit pants/skirt and heels would look fine too.
They do but this outfit doesn’t suit her at all (no pun intended).
The secretary look is the hottest. Don't use a tie because that's masculine.
I think it would be too much for a job interview.. Try a nice shirt and a pencil skirt instead
No matter how good you manage to make the suit look on a woman there will always be a better looking dress or skirt or whatever
I voted yes, beacuse I look good in a black suit and tie
Personally I would say lose the tie, doesn't suit it
Depends what the job is for?
But I do love a girl in a suit.I guess I'm the only one getting funeral vibes from that suit.
My girlfriend looks sexy in her black suit, tie, and boots
Women would definitely be more beautiful in more feminine girlish stuff
No. Only if it's like a formal schoolgirl type look.
