We all know a jawline can really make or break the look for men. But what about girls? Since female jawlines are usually softer and more high cut than men’s, would it disturb the aesthetic if a woman has a lower/stronger looking jawline? Do most people even notice this?
Good example for what I’m talking about would be supermodel Shalom Harlow or actress Olivia Wilde

How important is a high jawline for girls’ looks really?
As a guy, I don't notice jawlines much at all. xD So I guess it's not really important unless a girl has some kind of super "strong"(?) jawline that would be a lot more prominent than any of these examples.
For instance, I never noticed anything much about Olivia Wilde's jawline, and she's an actress I've always liked and find hot, haha! In fact, "TRON: Legacy" was just on TV the other day, and so I watched it again for the first time in years: it's not a great movie, but Olivia Wilde's hotness in it made it more entertaining. xD Have you seen that movie? =D
I guess it makes it appear that the woman is more mature and ladylike. Poised and sharp featured. However it's not a necessity. A jawline adds elegance and sophistication. Girls can have rounded off, chubby or slight v shapes and look cute and adorable
I think for women, a softer looking, more round facial structure is traditionally more beautiful. Though, it has to be the total of all of the facial features that makes a woman beautiful, not just her jawline.
Oh yeah, higher could make a woman’s jaw look wider. I think sometimes, some women can look more masculine because of this. I don’t think it makes a woman masculine 100% per se or completely unattractive, but probably give her a more masculine appearance to some. I prefer a softer more round jawline, as I think that’s more feminine, innocent, and sweeter looking. Again, it has to be a totality of all her other facial features (eyes, nose, cheekbones, lips, forehead, etc)
I know you're going to berate me and get me banned like you did the other poor fellow, but I'm still not sure what you mean by a high jawline *scratches chin*.
I don't think you look androgynous. But it's interesting, because most people are a mix of male and female features, on a differing continuum. And to me, sometimes the most appealing people have a mixture of the two. This sounds awful, but sometimes the transsexuals on Tinder stand out more than the girls who are kind of featureless. Daisy Ridley is interesting to me because she's a mixture of both female and male characteristics. Maybe it indicates quite a balanced nature, subconsciously.
I don’t think she’s masculine looking at all though, she has thin lips and a broad chin but overall very soft features like you said. I think a better example for androgynous would be Tilda Swindon 😂
Interesting looking people. Anyway, for me personally, I like a bit quirky looking people. Too conventional features can be boring. So it depends on what the guy is into.
The lower and upper jaw as well as cheek bones should be as developed as possible. In developed nations most people have underdeveloped lower and upper jaws and flat cheekbones.
Don't act stupid you didn't comment the pictures describing if it's a high jawline or low jawline, how am I supposed to know I thought they were all high jawlines
