I saw this YouTube video saying this college girl had the most scientifically symmetrical face and hence was the most beautiful scientifically? She looks like an average white girl at best in my opinion lmao. In fact I could honestly say I’m much better looking than her and I don’t receive half as much recognition.
How can a perfectly symmetrical face, be the reason for the most scientifically beautiful face? I dont understand how having a symmetrical face can be the most scientific reason for someones beauty. I've never heard of anyone ever judging someones beauty, looks, or desire for them, based on the symmetry of their features. I can't give a opinion on whether I think she has the most "scientifically" beautiful face or not, but when just looking at her face and evaluating her normally, I would say that she is average looking. I say she is average looking because she has all the features of a supposedly pretty female in this era. the video listed, high cheek bones, a straight nose, and a specific distance between both pupils, and this girl seems close to matching all of those specifications which is probably why she has been deemed the most scientifically beautiful. But, a lot of other girls can just use make up, and get plastic surgery to achieve most of this, or something close to this, which is why she looks average to me. Also, I wonder what the criteria for the most scientifically beautiful face would be back in the 1970s, or what it will be in the future, because peoples idea of beauty is always changing, and I doubt a "symmetrical face" will stay the reason for the most scientifically beautiful face forever.
I wouldn't be able to tell if someones face didn't look symmetrical or not, cause I dont know how to determine what a symmetrical face doesn't or does look like. but when looking at that girls face and looking at yours, yeah I can't notice any difference. But, when comparing her face to pretty much any other persons face, I can't really notice any differences in symmetry either.
Scientific beauty is only about symmetry. She has an astoundingly symmetric face, which would qualify her as "scientifically beautiful". I take passport pictures for a living, and I can tell you I've never seen such a symmetric face. Fir example people's eyes are almost never on the same level and her are.
But scientific beauty isn't what most people find beautiful. It's just a set of parameters. Because like the saying goes, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. I still think she looks very beautiful, but I also understand if other people don't see her like that.

I wouldn't say you have a more symmetrical face, but you have quite a symmetrical face as well, judging by your picture. Although your left eye seems noticeably larger than your right eye. But it just might be the picture, it distorts a lot of your features.
No one is 100% symmetrical, many have pointed out the “flaws” I have stated in her as well. It’s pretty normal as long as you aren’t too off balanced.

Unfortunately, in the real world, personality DOES affect whether one is attractive or not. You can be the most perfect woman in the woman, physically, but if what comes out of your mouth is racist, sexist, hate speech, you will come off looking worse than a troll with two noses.

I think the girl in the video is cute and has a nice face. I would also say it's true it's matching the golden ratio and other scientifically measurements.
But I've seen people I finds more beautiful, attractive etc. Having a good face is nice, but having some characteristics and something that stands out would grab my attention more easily. Adriana Lima also has a face fitting the golden ratio, but since she is mixed therefor she stands even more out. She is part Afro-Brazilian, African, East-Asian and North-European. So she has black hair, brown skin and blue eyes.
I think Eva Green, Nicole Kidman when playing Virginia Woolf, Kristen Stewart and Helena Bonham Carter have more interesting faces at the same time looking good. They're close to the conventional beauty standards too, but shows clearer personalities in it. Not sure if it's the facial features itself or the people/character's personalities showing through.

She's definitely very beautiful, perhaps gorgeous! But to say the most beautiful is a bit of a stretch as beauty is subjective.
Also, I think it's hilarious how much of the jealousy towards this angel is coming from black women! Her features have been considered beautiful throughout world cultures and societies even before the white man showed up in most of the world. Black women are constantly and consistently rated as among or at the bottom of the attractiveness and desirability scale among typically all races of men except for black guys. Hardly anybody wants y'all! I've seen a few pretty black girls, but they've all been blown out of the water by beautiful Asian, white, Latina, and Asian/white mixed girls.
I’m a Middle Eastern woman and I don’t see the obsession with East Asian girls lol. They’re not attractive. Black and Asian women are the least attractive. White, Latina, Middle Eastern women are the most attractive.
This post was EXTREMELY biased- you yourself are most likely from a western country, where we find western features attractive. Also, most Asian women are not considered “hot” or “super beautiful” in western countries. Also are you blind? Tons of Black women have been considered beautiful.

Okay first of call, I think you need to be called out on this. I understand that you don't find anything significantly beautiful in her, which is fine, but 'she looks like an average girl at best lmao' or 'i look better than her, don't I? Tell me who looks better' that's so rude of you and if you ask me, it radiates big jealous energy, it's almost as if you're jealous of the media attention that she's getting.
Anyway, yeah this girl has an amazingly symmetrical face and she does look beautiful to be, me, though I wouldn't necessarily call get strikingly beautiful or anything. Nonetheless it's still impressive that she still is closest to scientific perfection that one can get, and she definitely is flawless.

White people with the same hair color all generally look the same. Hair makes the biggest difference, eyes make some difference but it's not as obvious. If you dye every white girls hair brown, they'd look very similar, same for guys and shave their face.

She's though more symmetrical and proporcionate than many people. I can't say most beutiful but she's beutiful and quite symmetrical. Most symmetrical in the world? Would definitely not go as far as calling her the most beautiful person due to her symmetry. She's not hideous, for sure, but there are way prettier faces than her. Symmetry isn't everything. There is more to it than that.
I consider Ana Kendrick as having quite a lovely face and much nicer than this girls' face. Might not be as scientifically symmetrical but nonetheless more gorgeous than this girl.

Scientifically speaking with regard to "symmetry", yes, because I know what they are asserting with their findings which is purely 'symmetry' based. Whereas I tend to date women with her complexion, as far as looks go, I just find her slightly above average. But that is my preference as far as looks go versus the findings based on symmetry. The last women I was seeing with her light tan (which isn't something I am normally drawn towards) is vastly more attractive than this woman - in my eyes. But again, people when seeing her must understand the study was based on who is the "symmetrical" and not who is the most "attractive". Which Ii know people will trip over.
Maybe she’s just not photogenic. My cousin is very beautiful and charming, but in pictures and videos she doesn’t look that pretty. Generally attractive peoples are good looking in real life and average looking in pictures, the same way that someone can be attractive in a selfie and average in real life. Lol.

"Most" used properly in the case of this woman: 1. She's more beautiful than most "average" white women. 2. She is not the most beautiful girl whether scientifically or not. 3. I think she's beautiful, but she has nothing that stands out a lot. I think women with more unique features can be even more beautiful.
She is the kind of girl that is an 8 to everyone. But more special features make you a 6 to some and a 10 to others. I'd rather be a 10 to some and ignore the others, than just be 'good' all around but never truly special to anyone.
Those are strict parameters and I don't think they get the full picture, however based upon those parameters yes, she would fall into their definition of beautiful (in my opinion this type of beauty is very "generic" for lack of a better term). It does say this is from Britain.. so perhaps girls from there are uglier than the average girl around the world, and in that case, she could be better looking than the rest of the girls from that particular part of the world.
This has nothing to do with personal preference. They are simply stating she has a very symmetrical face. In nature symmetry correlates to attractiveness. This is a basic well known established and accepted fact and has been shown to be true across awide range of species.
She's pretty but average if not below average when compared to the many other beautiful faces out there. A symmetrical face can make you pretty BUT your facial features have to already be good looking. If you had an ugly face, no matter how symmetrical your face is, it's still ugly.
She just has a symmetrical face that is the most pleasant to look at based on average expectations of white people.

Judging by what science deems beauty based of off it does look like it. Symmetrical face, proportionate mouth, nose and eyes. Thing is she has nothing that stands out, so subjectively she ins't stunning, beautiful, but not breathtaking. There are enhancing factors of beauty which science doesn't factor in.

She's very lovely but I don't put much stock in these attempts to assess attractiveness scientifically. I think there's too much subjectivity involved. And for me personally I find a great many women to be very attractive in unconventional ways.
I think she is pretty, but since her type is like an "ideal", many people look like her these days. I feel like there a so many blonde, pretty faces on Instagram, that she wouldn't stand out if she was one of them. But everyone has to decide for themselves what look makes them feel beautiful and what is attractive about another person.

She is definitely not average looking, and she is most certainly NOT ugly. But she is also not what I would consider in the top 1% of most beautiful women. I don't think beauty can be fully scientifically defined.
However, no offense intended, but based on your profile pic you are not as attractive as she is.
she's pretty but I've seen way better. In the pic she looks like a 5.5 but in the vid she looks like an 8.5. I've know two girls who were not celebs or models but who looked like legit 10s (just the face) with good bodies as well.
She is beautiful. But I wouldn't say she's the most beautiful. Symmetry helps a lot but isn't everything. Tbh, I think my aunt has the most beautiful face I've ever seen. Also, symmetry has a lack of character that I'm into.

Says she's the most attractive doesn't work. If there's any merit to this then I suspect a better way of putting it is that she has the best ratio of appeal to population. So in other words her average rating is going to be higher. But her "symmetry" isn't that much higher than everyone else's, you shouldn't expect a massive difference.
She looks better than you, but she's also got makeup on, so who can really tell whether the symmetry really matters.
Not at all lol but she has the cutest darn face when she wakes up sleepy and when she thinks she needs to makeup on and when she makes silly faces that embarrass herself lol. I think scientifically pretty isn’t pretty at all.
In the grand scheme of faces she's defiantly above average, and I can consider her beautiful, but to say she's the most beautiful person ever? That's definitely subjective.
I think beauty has more to do with preference than symmetry. Objectively she is gorgeous. But if she isn't someone's type she is just going to look average.
