Beautiful woman but it is not healthy to carry that much weight. I'm glad people are not body shaming others for being heavy but I"m concerned that it is normalizing weights that are not healthy. In the 1970s I didn't see as many heavy people unless they were genetically prone to carry more weight or they had an extremely bad diet. Fast food was a treat not a daily or weekly meal. We, also, didn't drink soft drinks every day.

Being overweight might not have immediate consequences but eventually in old age it will start to catch up with a person. Joint replacement is one consequence of carrying too much weight for decades. No one wants super thin models because that is unhealthy but healthy weight would be a good thing.

Fun fact, she isn't overweight. For a model, maybe, but for a normal average person, she's average. I don't see why being overweight is such a big deal for models. Having models who are only size 00 and can only wear clothes for them, it doesn't boost much confidence in those in society who are in fact overweight. So having models who wear "plus" sizes is a good thing. And also, just because you wear a "plus" size, doesn't mean you're overweight or in fact a "plus" size person.

But do people, such as yourself, (the asker of this question) instead of trying to promote a healthy lifestyle, and say, hey, is this woman can be a model then you can too, no, just because she's overweight doesn't mean she can't be attractive. And obviously she's attractive or she wouldn't be a model.

Now maybe you're someone who's a size 0-6 and you just don't like big people, sure, but don't body shame.

Do you understand what "overweight" actually means? From this picture her BMI% is well past the goalposts for "overweight". Probably dipping into "overfat" territory. (I believe 30% and over is "obese", she looks somewhere between 25-30% so overfat is technically the right term)

I am 50 years old and I am overweight ( I weight around 15 kilos more than I should). Asides from the appearance debate, you have to believe me: BEING OVERWEIGHT WILL TREMENDOUSLY COMPLICATE YOUR HEALTH AS YOU GROW OLD.
