Models these days look like shit. The vs models all smoke their brains out backstage while changing before hitting the runway. And most are not physically good looking in the face or body. Most are to skinny with no boobs or thighs or ass. The idiot clothing designers claim it's so the clothes can drape more but realistically what woman is that fucking skinny NONE or barely any. And it's because a lot of fashion designers are gay and want the women to look like skinny gay guys. And what they fail to realize is women have curves and sex appeal why do you think the modeling industry has so many anorexic and bulimic women so they be skinny as hell to get modeling jobs because these fashion designers are all gay wishing it was gay skinny guys modeling their clothes. Back then women had cheek bone structure and very well balanced symmetrical facial structure and they ATE FOOD. Nowadays it's disgusting what happens with models. I mean look at playboy for example they no longer have beautiful women modeling now you actually have men "transgender women" posing in playboy ffs. Same with miss america. That's no longer considered a pageant and no longer has the bathing suit competition. That too has transgender people in it now. The pc liberal sjw nonsense just got really out of hand in this country. And if you don't believe me look at what tim cook did to all his devices the iPhone, the imac all made them thinner for no reason. Nowadays stuff like breast implants buttcheek implants botox injections for thicker lips eyebrow thinning and even liposuction all take place as well as hair extensions eye lash extensions fingernail extensions and all sorts of cosmetic enhancements to make the woman look more visually appealing. And whatever can't be fixed surgically and cosmetically gets fixed in Photoshop or other editing software programs. The more visually appealing to the eye the more people will want to buy it

Collagen in the lips and nose jobs and whatever else somebody can think of will get done but the thing is though the more artificial enhancements that take place the more it takes away from the woman's natural beauty. The modeling industry fashion industry porn industry or whatever industry you can think of doesn't like women to have any flaws physically. But realistically do you think any of those women wake up out of bed looking like that. No of course not it takes hours upon hours of makeup and whatever else they can put on the woman to make her look a certain way for the cameras. Also the right lighting the right contrast the right setting the right angle to position the face and body also helps out a lot

The answer your looking for is internet and technology. Back then it was more common to either be born attractive or to work for it by working out.

But now it’s easier to buy looks. It’s not as authentic when it’s not earned. It’s too easy to use filters or expensive makeup.

Because models in that era had to be good-looking to be noticed by any modelling agency, and they had to train and work hard to retain their place in the modelling industry. They worked hard and so they had the talent and the confidence. They became famous by modelling.

Now you have to be famous to be able to model. Most of these models today already come from secure backgrounds and have nothing to lose if they don't have their modelling careers anymore. So neither do they have to do a thing to model in the first place, nor do they have to put in any effort to secure their position. So they don't work as hard, take it as seriously, and the fruit of it shows on the runway when they walk on the stage like it's just another day in the streets, and feeling awkward because they obviously didn't have the practice. Money doesn't buy you the natural confidence that comes from practice.

Maybe it's just that they were natural beauties and light make up and modifications etc. Today's models have had too much surgery and have too much makeup on, their photos are altered too much. Wanting to make them look perfect, doesn't end up well.

Because models nowadays are plastic. I bet you that every one of thos Victoria secret models and what not have had a boob job, some botox being done, and whatever else they do to look a certain way that's approval to whatever the standards are nowadays. If you see a lot of beauty gurus and whatnot, people are putting makeup on their chest areas and neckline, dying their hair color, microblading their eyebrows, tattooing in their lips and even to the point of just plain photoshopping themselves to make them feel better. Beauty has always been a problem no matter what age or year we're in.
