Natural, untouched nails in women: dealbreaker or not?
I heard from a few people that it's unfeminine.
I think there's an advantage to that. It means they are working hands. I think artists or those working in the garden would find long nails a bother. It simply allows you to do more things without fear, instead of holding your nails in the air helpless, you see someone having trouble and you go right to the person to help them like someone trying to dig up a plant or pulling someone's foot out of the ground. It's handy to have trimmed nails at times. However, there are places for nice nails too. It's good I'd argue to have a mixture of both. Painted nails for special occasions and non painted nails for normal life
I don't know about it being unfeminine, but a nice nail properly shaped is nice, plus a little gloss to highlight the nail is great.
But the false ridiculous long ones are so impractical and look stupid. But this look is pushed by the salons, they make a lot of money out of them...
Guys don’t really care too much. The only thing I think they really would notice is the cleanliness of your nails. So I’d at least keep them neat and clean. Also, soft moisturized hands.
It’s fine. I don’t see anything wrong with it. My mom doesn’t even paint her nails.

I doubt I’d notice. I mean I notice bold nail colours but I don’t notice their absence.
I think if l ever move to a country/city where it's normal to get gel manicures from the salon, everyone will notice my nails. I do nothing to them, keep them very short, even when clipping and filing I just follow its natural shape. I don't paint them either, haven't done it in years. Used to do it once to stop biting my nails, and once I got rid of that habit I never wore nail polish again.
I actually prefer natural nails, as long as they are clean and neatly trimmed. That tells me she is down to earth and has realistic needs and priorities. When I see long, fake, painted nails, I see a high maintenance women.
I like them short and red. Fake nails scream high maintenance. If you don't want to use nail polish that's fine too.
Just cut em once in a while and you're aight, who cares. That's what guys do.
Some find it more tomboyish.
It's interesting to me how different cultures have different standards for what they find more appealing. Over here people find long nails and fake nails as pretty disgusting and unhygienic.
I actually prefer that. Like it's such a turn on for me if a person looks as natural as they can.
As long as they are clean, natural nails are probably better. Varnished nails only look good when pristine. Any degree of scratches or chipping makes them quite off-putting.
As long as they're healthy, it's not a deal breaker.
That's fine what really matters is being pure as in no sex
I just don’t really notice when someone has nails that are completely natural or not painted lol. So I prefer when they have their nails done as is more interesting
That's not a deal breaker as long as they are not sloppy and ugly
If women weren't supposed to have nails like that then God would not had made them that way.
I prefer them that way personally, I never cared for the "dolled up" look.
Not a deal-breaker for me by any means; in fact I'd rather see natural human fingernails than birds' claws.
I don’t really care for acrylic or that sort of stuff, so natural untouched is perfectly fine
That would be my preference although I would hope that cares for her nails and gives them a manicure at home herself.
That would be a preference, actually. I like natural and short nails.
I tend to see it as a positive thing tbh, I like it more than painted ones
Nonsense. Absolute nonsense. Don't believe a word of it.
What is nonsense, could you please elaborate?
The "idea" that "virgin nails" are unfeminine. Total bullshit. Who's telling you this crap?
Let's just say that they are also people.
They don't know what they're talking about, whoever they are. I don't know how much more I can elaborate. Natural nails can be beautiful. You don't need a salon to take care of them, you can do it yourself, and they'll be plenty feminine. Sounds like a weird cultural thing.
Not really look a nails but along the dont look unsafe or unhealthy it cool mosty the face is important
I don't like fake or acrylic nails. I prefer natural or nail polish that's it.
Deal breaker to me yes. I prefer nice manicured nails even if fake acrylics.
