What are your thoughts about a black woman dressing country?
1st of all who are you to dictate what gender should be encouraged to be anything? The way someone dresses has NOTHING to do with who they are as people. Women and men are a gift to each other. When you start paying for someone clothes you can be allowed to have a judgement about what someone wears. I know millionaires who dress homeless and I homeless people who dress like millionaires. My point is no matter what someone chooses to wear doesn't make them look ghetto or whatever other label you put on it. It's your prejudice mind that allows that ignorant thought to come into your mind. Ghetto is not a style, it's a mentality so saying someone dresses ghetto is ignorant in itself. Not knowing someone before you make that statement is ignorant. You're whole opinion is ignorant. A black city girl dressing country doesn't make her country. A black city girl dressing like a city girl doesn't make her ghetto. A black city girl dressing anyway simply makes her a girl raised in the city. It's really that simple.
People can dress however they want to in my opinion. I don't care and no one else should either. I think it's cool and even great if you adopt and incorporate styles from different places and cultures even if its not what you're used to or grew up in that environment. If you want to dress like a cowgirl or super western go for it! Just don't brag about being able to do the work of a country girl if you've never done it before or aren't up for the task because people will place high expectations on you in you ever wind up in a country environment. Real cowgirls, country, western, and farn girls live a very hard lifestyle most people can't keep up or compete with and aren't women you want to mess with😂 i know because i moved from the sunny beaches of California to a seriously western town and it was a major cultural shock to say the least.

You should dress how you want and whatever you feel comfortable in. As someone who grew up on a farm in the middle of nowhere though, I've never seen a country girl dress like that. Muddy boots, jeans, t-shirts, and baseball hats are FAR more common. I wouldn't want to catch calves and tend chickens dressed like that. 😛
The Black woman on the pic is hot and beautiful. To me there's nothing wrong with a Black woman dressing country and I enjoy it regardless what anyone says, soon there will be more black women on Country music videos especially as there love interests in opinion.
I have seem them. Heck, I went through the academy with a lady who was there for the mounted posse. Her and I got along quite well. She was always in jeans and boots. She brought one of her horses down to the training center once and hit a few of the nearby trails after an early day session we had.
There's no such thing as "dressing country." You know what most "country" folks actually wear? --jeans and an oversized t-shirt with sneakers. So... this isn't a thing.
Anyway, that girl ^ up there in that pic is hot as fuck.
You'll get a lot of people accusing you of "wanting to be something you're not". I'm black/white biracial and my dad grew up on a ranch and whenever I go there and dress up in country and post pictures on social media attire I get accused of "wanting to be something I'm not"
a more traditional southern/country female. who wears more traditional southern/country outfits. while having more traditional southern/country values. is a good thing regardless of her race, skin color, ethnic group or nationality.
they don't all go around wearing chop tops and daisy duke shorts in public however.
I think it looks nice. Also, if you know anyone who makes country songs for a hobby, you could suggest your idea for a YT music video (who knows, maybe it'll catch on).
Sexy. Its almost universally agreed on, country girl style is hot. Daisy dukes, crop tops or tied button ups, boots or sandals, dresses and hairstyles to match the outfit, leggings and tank tops with bra showing. Country accent and enjoying doing stuff guys normally do. Country has given us a lot lol
I don't see an issue with it. Same with black people wearing heavy metal and rock band t-shirts. If anything I encourage both. Simply because some people will have an issue with it.
I don't have a problem with it, this is America. I am also the first one to point out the hypocrisy when I see when someone, (usually a black person who goes to college) cries cultural inappropriation. Since we got black people straightening their hair and dying it blond and teenage Mexican girls wearing Vans and their Grandpa's dressing like John Wayne and Wyatt Earp.
There are country black women, my family lives in the south and I'm from the south. AL.

Go to the country there are plenty of blacks that live there and enjoy the lifestyle. I used to live in the country. Not all dress that way only a few when going to two step at bars or line dancing.
Per your update, any sort of western wear store should have what you are looking for. Even tack shops that specialize in western disciplines, or farm and home type stores.
I see no issues with it. Unlike leftist idiots, I dont believe cultural appropriation is a thing.. Anyone should be allowed to wear what ever they wish.

personally, a woman should be encouraged to be feminine, not a thug, loser, or gangster... women are a gift to men and dehumanizing and making them look ugly or worse, dressing like a whore all the time, does NOTHING to make them respect and treat them with dignity.

Country doesn't mean slutty with tight cropped tops or her ass hanging out of her shorts. But whites aren't the only ones that hail from the country. Why would it be any more special for a black to dress that way?
actually black people were the first ones that were cowboys , white people would always tell them to go get the cows and bring them back for them so they would call them cowboys but now ofc when you look up cowboys its always white people lol another thing they stole , but anyways i think it fits them well.
