Is AXE a good enough deodorant to wear or is it too "overrated"? And what about going on a date with a woman?

Small disclaimer: I don't buy into the marketing gimmicks. I know their dirty and shady tactics to make customers buy their products (Cyberpunk 2077). I know when they're tryna low-ball customers or overcharge them for such things (it comes mostly with first-hand purchasing experience).

But what I am asking here is whether AXE is a good enough deodorant to wear on the regular. And if so then my next question would be if it's something women would like to smell on men like do they even care if it's AXE or not? I mean like probably almost anything beats nothing at all. Part of maintaining personal hygiene includes using deodorant.

Axe is ok to use if you like he smell, personally I don't like it cause the smell is too strong (I use deo without any scent or very light one cause I don't support strong smell) but after if you like axe then you can use it. Just don't put too much of it (it can give you and others people a headache).
In France axe is usually used by middle schooler (boys and girls alike).

I used AXE back in Germany whenever I had it a few times. Back in middle school and high school.

I still like it but I get turned off by it's overdone marketing effort.

Their marketing are quite cringy yes though most marketing are quite stupid and pushy.

We can certainly learn something from them and apply this knowledge in case we pursue marketing jobs or business jobs and bring this with us. Possibly. But it depends. If overdone marketing is what people like (or as some say play by the rules), hell, if that's the ingredient to success, then I don't blame them. Even if I disagree with that perspective.

I don't see anything wrong with it, personally. If you smell good, I don't care about why.

Though there is two things... first, please don't spray it on your junk. It doesn't help, and honestly it's a turn-off. Second, don't rely solely on that and think you can skip showering.

Oh sorry, thought you were joking around.
Basically, some guys spray it on their crotch because they are hoping for oral sex and the like. But the scent is overpowering and doesn't cover up strong smells down there. It's not attractive at all.
I think I remember some commercial or movies where guys actually did this so I figure that's where it came from.

It's tough because there is that balance. You don't want something too heavy yet there are girls that like heavy smelling cologne. Honestly, I get a little turned on by a confident guy wearing thick cologne 😅 but overall, I think it's good to pick out something in the middle, enough to know it's there but not enough to make her sneeze or cough

The "good enough" deodorant is the one that prevents perspiration. Period. It's not like she's gonna be sniffing at your armpits midway through the date lol. If a guy wants to smell nice above just generally being clean, then he should get a decent cologne and apply it in moderation shortly before a date. Deodorants are not colognes, guys! xD

What deodorant works on you is a very personal matter. The same deo that suits you could smell nasty on another guy.

Guess it depends on your age. A lot of 16 year old kids wear it. If you're pushing mid 20s, might be time to look for something a bit more grown up.
