Do you prefer a side part or center part?

When I was a teenager, side parts were socially expected. Now apparently teenagers hate side parts & prefer center parts, which is weird because when I was their age, center parts were considered boring and basic. Your opinion?

This poll is for people aged 35 and below because I don't know how fashion trends were different for people much older than me.

The results are intriguing. It's so strange how culture determines what people find attractive. When I went from a center part to a side part when I was 14, that was a big part of my beauty makeover from "nerd" to "attractive" basically. I even had teachers complimenting me for it.

I'm 61. for every day style center part looks good and is reasonably practical as is combing straight back. If you want to look sexy then side part and have it draped partially across your face so we see only one eye staring seductively at us like Jessica Rabbit.

My hair naturally can’t middle part due to something that’s very common with the hairline or something I don’t know, but I’ve never seen my hair middle parted, but for my friends, middle part is the best option.

The parting can really enhance your facial features. Middle parting doesn't suit everyone as it can make a longer face appear longer or a round face appear rounder.

I don't know what is or isn't socially expected, I just don't find middle parts appealing regardless of the woman's style or age.
I honestly fail to recall any instance where a middle part would flatter anyone's appearance, I mean, more so than a side part would.
But I can certainly recall many in which it made the person look really stupid.

I always combed my hair straight back. No parting and my hair because it was short was spiked and stood up on itself. Never changed my haircut.
