How to stop wishing I was born with long flowy wavy or straight hair?

If you think that's ugly, then it says that you don't love anything about yourself. Wishing that you was born with other things would not help you in the long run. These are physical traits that you did not Choose Yourself. These are physical traits that was chosen by your parents when they got together. That's what it means when you end up having sex and you end up passing on genes. You never know who you may encounter. The thing is is that at the end of the day why do you think it's ugly? Did you think that way when you was younger? Did you knew that when you was a child? Did you know that when you was a baby? I highly doubt that. Somebody had to have told you that it was that. Somebody must have made you feel that way. You must have been influenced by the media or something or somebody around you that makes you think that. You must have seen other people being favored for one feature physically over the other and maybe you felt self-conscious about it. That sadly is the norm that people made of things. But you have to remember what it was like before you actually thought it was ugly. That's what's help me to some degree. You will always be judged by what you have and don't have. But if you don't learn to love yourself as a person, then you will never understand what your value is. Regards to what God loves you. And everything that God makes he makes a good thing. What matters is that people love you whether you have it or not. You having wavy long hair doesn't guarantee you're loved. Ask everybody that have that hair type. Are they love for them? Order only love for what they have? Are they love even if they didn't? Are they loved it even if they did? If one type of hair type was the most loved and why is so many women that have it are often felt unloved and is often missed treated badly? It doesn't matter what hair type you have. It doesn't matter what skin type or skin color you got. What matters is all you love for who you are as a person. Because you're not. No amount of changing yourself physically is going to change what's going on in the inside. My skin gets dry, my skin is not smooth. My hair is not of the part away I would like it. But at the end of the day regardless if anybody likes me or not. I have to remember what I was like before I thought about those things about myself. I had no insecurities about myself into other people make me have insecurities about myself did I never had before I got involved with those people. Nobody is born with those insecurities. People give you those insecurities.

You just got to embrace it. Growing up I didn’t like my curly hair either but now that I know how to take care of it I like it I just want it to be longer. Try not to use heat on your hair it’s very damaging also another good thing about curly hair is that the products smell so good

You can remind yourself that it would've been very strange to see a baby with long hair. My brother, born with a full head of thick, dark hair that to this day refuses to lay flat or gently accept a comb, had it better: it was the mid-80's, and all the Punk kids would tell my mother "we love what you've done with your baby's hair!" and she'd just smile and nod, not wanting to tell them she couldn't do a thing. My brother, presumably, just sat and wondered who those colorful people were, since, y'know, he was a baby.

Meanwhile, you can also try styling it differently, or wearing different colors to contrast it better (or hide it better, if you so choose). Hair is just one part of your total appearance, after all. And if all else fails, there's always hats.

People tend to be their own harshest critics and internalize negative remarks other people make about their appearance. A lot of people wish they could have naturally curly hair. Try to figure out why you came to believe it is ugly, then free yourself from such nonsense.

I was also born with curly hair. It’s a lot of work even though mine is not super curly. I had it straightened but the roots are showing now.
