Any advice on short skirt with bare legs in winter?

It's trendy here among teen girls to wear a short skirt or a pair of short shorts with bare legs in winter. I will try to hang out in a miniskirt in this freezing cold winter. It's about 60°F outdoors. How to keep warm?

It's nice of you to give ideas of pretending to be bare-legged. Are there any way to be REALLY bare-legged while keep warm?

Got it. I will go in my lovely pleated mini skirt paired with thick knee-high socks and a jacket coat. I wish a sunny day not too cold.

Tbh it’s really hard. I live in California which is pretty warm already in winter, but still in some days are too cold to go bare legs in short skirts. All I can say is to get used to it.
Regularly I wear knee high boots for short skirts in winter, at least most part of them are hid from the cold weather.

They sell pantyhose with wool inside that should help and I think that’s pretty cool

As mentioned try nude tights or long socks.

if not just go with it, your body adapts to the cold.

The girl on the right must be a visitor she has a jacket.

It’s just a thing where I live, go out in the ‘Toon’ you don’t wear jackets (unless you have a long walk home lol)

A lot has to do with pubs n clubs being in very close proximity.

It’s also one of the best party cities in Europe.

I'm out for a while. It's snowing in a light wind now. My thighs feel a bit cold. It seems thick knee-high socks don't help much. Still quite a long walk.

I don’t usually take a jacket but my mate is jumper and jacket and scarf lol

What I see in the article is fashion outweighs warmth. I agree on it. That's the reason I take the mini skirt and bare legs trend.

@hannawell yeah, it has done for years, where I am short skirts are usually the normal thing for girls on night out.

It does help it’s one of the best party cities in Europe lol.

Your body will get used to the temperatures, a lot of it is just not thinking about how old areas are lol
