I think Marilyn wore it better! But, at LEAST she wore a beautiful dress, and didn’t go to the Met dressed like:

Okay, to be fair… the guy in the bottom photo may have gotten really stoned and actually tried to fuck a Slinky, and just gotten so tangled up in it, he just thought “screw it, it’s the friggin Met… who’s going to even notice that it’s a half fucked Slinky?”
It does display the headspace to feel like she is as sexy and capable as the classy Marylin Monroe, which she is not in so many ways. The dress, and everything about it, just doesn't work.
But there is more. Marylin died in a bad way, leaving bad energy everywhere. It's like seeing if there is a curse of sorts with Marylin's personal items. Maybe it's nothing, but much to risks. Kim might have picked some of that up, and may even face the same demise now. I know that sounds weird, but I have heard and seen too many examples of that. An invitation to distaster, and the reason I say that is, that dark energy often presents itself on the person to show them in a bad light. And there she is...
I believe the bigger question is:
Why do people put so much thought into what celebrities do in their lives in terms of what they wear and shit. Do people's lives really lack this much substance?
If you really want an answer, I say Kim is fake. Her entire body is fake and now she tries to copy someone else because she cannot stand her own self.

she doesn't look good wearing it because kim is not slender enough for the dress. the dress is meant to look good only on slender people. if you have butt implants, huge hips , you're not gonna look good. 1950s beauty is different from current day beauty standards.
plus, there is still a lot of mystery surrounding her death. Many people believe that her drug overdose death was staged.
I think folks are kinda just projecting their opinions on Kim Kardashian rather than the actual question.
Personally, I kinda thought the Met Gala this year was kinda chaotic but seeing setting personal opinions on Kim aside, I think it's really cool that she got the original dress!! Plus the fact that she didn't treat it carelessly and made sure that she didn't damage it at all.
Perhaps the more pertinent question would be why anyone would even care about something as unimportant as this. Who even is Kim Kardashian? What does she actually DO? How has she contributed to the betterment of mankind? At least someone like Elon Musk launches rockets and makes cars, and is now about to cleanse Twitter, but what are her accomplishments? I can't think of any.
Kim sickens me, and the Met Gala is pretty much America's premiere wretched hive of scum and villainy.

It’s a great dress, but just not meant for Kim’s body.
