I pretty much hate needles and I think I'll either cry my ass out, throw up or pass out. Why don't they just let me pass out or drug me? Put me to sleep. What do they need me wake for?

Hey! I also hate needles and I had all 3 reactions during my first tattoo. It was also small and only took about 5 minutes to get.
My advice would be make sure you're hydrated and have eaten something so your body may not react as severely. They'll likely have water, but you can bring a water bottle with you and maybe a hard candy too just in case. If you feel yourself getting lightheaded, tell them you need to stop for a minute. If you feel nausea, ask for a trash can or go to one yourself.
You wouldn't be the first person to throw up at that parlor so don't feel too embarrassed if you do, and do NOT ignore your body and try to just push through. It's better to stop for a minute and cool down so nothing happens than to push yourself too much and throw up without any warning.
Also, go with a friend! I went with my sister. It just helps to have someone you know there, you can talk to them to distract yourself from the pain, and they can drive you home if you're still feeling uneasy afterwards.
Overall a rough experience, but would recommend. I'm planning on getting a second, slightly larger tattoo sometime later this year.👍
Thank you for the useful tips!
Anytime!
It can be fun and exciting for most people. It’s not all that bad but it always depends on the location that you get it. But be smart about your decisions. I typically tell people to get something meaningful to them so they don’t regret it later. It’s more painful to remove than to actually get it. You’ll be fine wide awake. They can’t have you drugged up or liquored up because that will thin out your blood and make it a very horrifying experience.
That is a nice tattoo, but I wouldn't think hip as a good placement. A piece like that calls out to forearm, which is where it would look best, I think.
The upper thighs would be just above the wrist, curling through her hourglass figure with her head at the crook of your elbow.
And keep it black/white, maybe a little grey.
I went bold myself, and got a couple of tattoos on my upper arms. I suggest black and white, as solid colored tattoos take a bit getting used to. I often wish I had gotten black or traditional colored Playboy bunnies on my arms, since I find the permanent colors a little tacky.
Here's my advice to everyone, those with and without tattoos.
1. NO NAMES. (You can get your kids, or parents that's it)
2. No Old English lettering, or any other letting that makes it impossible to read.
3. If you can't read and write in a language, don't assume that your tattoo is going to say what you want it to in another language.
4. No logos (bands, or brands)
5. No tattoos your grandmother or a judge could see (so no face or hand tattoos)
Otherwise, go hog wild.
The design with the girly is what i want.

Don't get one, when you're not sure about it and have doubts.
I'd say if it's ur first pls try start with something smaller and then if in 1 or 2 years u still like it then get a bigger one. And as for the pain u are allowed to take two painkillers before hand if that helps u. It worked well for my sis and now she's getting her second tattoo, soo hope this helps
😺
Go big or go home lol just kidding I think its a good design there is so many good artist out there that is what I would be doing my research on each artists brings there own style and and forget about the pain its not bad maybe the crees of your arm or wrist bone and over the veins of your wrist might be a little tender if your getting it on your arm
I've been thinking about getting a tattoo as well, but wasn't sure. My plan is to get a temporary tattoo of what I want and see how I like it. If it's something I know I would only like at the age I am now, then I'll probably keep it as a temporary tattoo until I get tired of it.
All I can say is think twice about anything you think is cool. . because in 20 years you might not think so... I remember in high-school my buddy got some tattoos I thought were Hella cool but never got. . now I'm like thank God I didn't get a pot leaf and a 40 Oz on my neck haha
Just make sure you really like the design, print it out and tape it somewhere you’ll see all the time and see if you’ll get bored of it. The tattoo itself doesn’t have to have meaning, just as long as you like it.
I don’t know if this is a good tip or not but I got a heart tattoo and it honestly was fine. You might be nervous but hey it will look good after. I’d say don’t even sweat it
It's normal to feel nervous about getting a tattoo, I did, you kind of forget about the pain while you're getting done, helpful if you have a friendly tattoo artist because you can just chat to and it'll keep your mind off of it. Honestly though, it's worth it if you think it's something you'll like.
Get something that actually means a lot to you. If your gonna do it. I've agreed that when my niece turns 18 I'll get the same tattoo she wants XD. if she draws it.
Start with something small, go for a place you can hide if you feel like it, and a place that won't change much with age or body changes.
I said on my hip. So no skirt, no short, no clothing will show it except the underwear or bikini which I don't mind. I don't want a big vulgar thing. The design u see it's what I want.
Get a clear tattoo. Then you will feel the pain and not have any regrets.
Cute art choice.
A lot of my colleagues have small tattoos like this and the best advice is to get a temporary one.
Yes don't. If you like art collect it somewhere else.
My advice would be to not get one. Tattoos ALWAYS make women less attractive in my opinion.
If we have a tatoo, we can't donate blood, right?
Also go with someone lol you don't wanna pass out during the process and tempt the poor artist lol
Do not get any tattoos.
Tattoos make a woman look like a trailer park skank.
Not always, I've seen some hotties with tattoos.
Good to get it on your leg, it's a pain and esthetic thing, can you handle the pain, and will you dislike it in the future
I never got one. I think if you decide to do it you're going to be fine.
Get a good one. Cheap tattoos aren't good and good tattoos aren't cheap. Check out the artist and his/her work before you choose. You only get o e shot at getting your first tattoo
First tattoo is always fun!
You would be surprised how high your tolerance is! If you have any questions, i can answer all of em. Just let me know what you are wondering, etc.
I personally don’t find them attractive.
Definitely don’t get one you’re not 100% sure about.
Tattooing your body is a sin. sorry I have no tips.
I did mine myself and it turned out okie I'm getting it done by a perfectional
talk to the tattoo artist... he may have a solution
never gotten a tattoo becuase I don't follow shallow trends with high risk low reward😶🌫️
Make sure your tattoo has meaning. Or you might regret it, or looks silly to have down the road.
I guess it's in case you you want some slight alteration to it. People do pass out getting a tattoo
don’t half ass it, either jump in with both feet or don’t get one at all.
Don't get one until you're 100% certain about the idea
Do not get a very big one. And do not have it on face.
don't get tattoos. huge turn off for guys and people will think you are a criminal or drug addict
get a tattoo of a bad word on your forehead.
I’m not interested in that
Try a fake tat first.
Yeah, expect some pain.
Yes don’t
