What has you so frustrated with your hair? Is it your current hairstyle or is it the condition your hair is in?
I would generally suggest to try to work your way through it, but on the other hand there's nothing to say you can't. Perhaps a fresh start would be a good thing? I don't know. If it means anything, I have never looked at women with a shaved head any differently.
But is there anything else you could do instead? If you do shave it off, you might regret it and really miss having your hair. Depending on your hair length and how fast your hair grows, it could take as much as 1-2 years or even more for it to grow back, so it is a bit of a commitment if you do shave it off, and if you do, you'd also have to consider doing several different hairstyles at different stages as it grows back too. Just something to consider anyway.

I’ve been shaving my head for decades. Since long before it became kool. It’s literally the only trend i’ve been on the leading edge of in my entire life! Ell oh ell!
The first time is intimidating. If you’ve never buzz cut your hair or shaved before, you don’t know exactly what your head looks like. That’s scary because there are heads that definitely shouldn’t be bald! Ell oh ell! I got lucky and i’ve never looked back. I haven’t had hair since and i don’t miss it. But not everyone shares my experience. I recommend buying a wig and keeping the receipt the first time you consider buzzing or shaving. Ell oh ell!
I was working as a teachers aid, and ended up cutting my hair really short once because it was just damaged and needed to go, and the next day I came into the classroom, all of the students literally came up to me and said I looked like a boy and since they are kids with no filters, they kept telling me that and that they missed my long hair. I tried not to let it get to me...because they're kids...but it did and I have NEVER cut my hair short again nor would I ever shave my hair bald.
I did it when I was 19. I had my hair to my lower back (ass) for 5 years and just didn't like to remember my ex's fingers going through it every time I brushed.
It was self-harm.
I was kinda lucky my husband didn't mind short hair on women.

No, I don't think I would be able to pull off this look, or it would be flattering on me. I don't even like short hair or pixie cuts, I prefer medium or long hair. But everyone is different
See Lupita Nyong'o? She looks amazing with short or shaved hairI started going bald in my twenties. I shaved my head in my mid thirties. After leaving the barber shop, I went to Hooters for lunch. Several waitresses were rubbing my head and making wishes. If I’d known that would be the reaction, I would have done it ten years earlier.
I never wanted to shave it all off but I did sometimes want to trim it down to the neckline because I find just by reducing my hair by 3-5 inches I can cut the time it takes to wash and comb my hair by up to 80%.
As long as you're sure you'll love it, go for it. Some women can really rock the look.
Maybe try a bald filter on snapchat or tiktok before you go through with it.
As for me.. I don't like myself with a shaved head. LolI've never felt that way. I love having long hair awhile back ago I cut it to my shoulders and that is pretty short for me. Can't wait till it grows back out
Yeah I felt like shaving all my body hair in this hot humid summer. Not my head hair of course. Ended up shaving legs and armpits only.
I would tbh, my hair is pretty messed up currently. I don't know if I would wear a wig on top though.
We did this for charity a good few years back.
it was not just hair on head.
it was every part of our bodies.
Felt really strangeGirl yes… almost once a month I feel like it but then I also remember I want to grow my hair out long again so I won’t…
No. I used to shave it short that you can almost see me bald but I got dreds now. Part of the upcoming change i got in my future
Good lord NO!
Girl, get you butt to the stylist of your choice, and get ur hair fixed. You will never forgive yourself! There’s a girl on campus I don’t “know her“ but she’s always been very friendly and she’s in a couple of my classes. Anyway she was at a party drank WAY too much and as a prank someone shaved her head! She literally tried to kill herself! Not because she was sexually assaulted or anything like that because she wasn’t… Just because they shaved her head! Don’t do it
Like.. once in college.
I tried cutting my hair on my own because my bestie wasn't there, completely fucked it up, had a mental breakdown, started cutting it more, then wanted to shave it off but didn't lmao.
I saw her on the weekend and she fixed it for me 😅Do it. It grows back. I've definitely had moments where I hate my hair but then I just dye it
I have felt like it in the past. I like my hair long though.
I recently did just this. My family keeps telling me I look military.
I did this once. My (then) girlfriend didn't like it.
that's not how I deal with stress or frustration...
Yeap. Came close at the start of the pandemic, shaved it down to about an inch with my clippers
Just the opposite, I let my hair grow wild.
Someone call me Wilson, because of:From my entire body? NO! I HAVE shaved my legs quite a few times, shaved my pits once and my pubes a couple times. Some nurse shaved my chest a few years ago and I did it again a few months ago. And, 33 years and 9 days ago, I shaved my head in protest.
