First of all I'm back in Canada and this is a pic of me and my friend when we were in Dubai. Yes I didn't wear a bra and I did on multiple ocassions without any issues. Were people trying to scare me?

It's pretty fucking simple, they have their own laws because they are a sovereign nation. Just because you broke the law and didn't get caught, doesn't mean you didn't break the law. Article 121 of law 3 covers crimes against honor and morality. Look it up. They can imprison you for up to 15 years. It would have been funny if you got caught and thought you were special because you're a Canadian lesbo.

Emirates have their law, based on Islam teaching, that one should not show too much of his/her body or in overall dress unmodest. I believe not wearing a bra falls for that.

Although I heard that there are parts of Dubai that are more globalised on that issue and going outside with sleeveless tops and short shorts is not a problem.
