it can hide a little acne but your face/bone structure can't be changed even if u contoured or highlighted anything it doesn't have a drastic change , even if u do heavy makeup , it's only a small percentage of people who really change after putting makeup but most people don't even if it's done by professionals , if ur ugly then ur ugly and if ur pretty ur pretty
Make up should be done to make subtle improvements not change the shape of your face. Although on a face there’s often just millimeters differences between pretty and plain so you can look look a lot better with subtle enhancing makeup. eg a bit of cc cream or tinted moisturizer just for a healthy even skin. A subtle eyeliner makes eyes look just a little bigger, filling brows in gently makes a big difference on balance to most faces, lip color not crazy and overdrawn but adding a bit of extra contrast. These things are small but add up to make your face look noticeably a bit fresher and prettier.
Makeup isn't meant to change how you really look. Most people do their Makeup naturally so that they still look like themselves.
I agree with you about bone structure, facial shape, etc. But makeup can dramatically change looks, yes.

I have seen pictures of many females celebrities with and without makeup and they all of them still look recognisable to me both ways.
Most of the time that is correct. It is easy to pull extreme examples from the internet, but in reality it doesn't change much with most people.
I don't usually wear makeup, just bb cream, sunscreen and lip balm. I don't need to look like someone else, and of course, makeup really doesn't change women. It just makes it more colorful.
