Yes, I love a bold lip with subtle makeup. My rule for makeup is if I do a bold lip the rest of the makeup has to be very subtle. If I go for dramatic eyeshadows my lips have to be nude colors.

That doesn't look like "simple make-up" to me. The red lipstick is fine because they all have full, plump lips. I've always thought red lipstick on thin lips looks horrible.

For me no. It is definitely hard to rock a red lip, need to have the right face shape for it too. However, if you do choose to do a red lip use neutral eyeshadow shades because if not, everything will clash together. My personal go-to is a nude lip and neutral eyeshadow tones with false eyelashes and eyeliner. I lean to a more dramatic makeup look.

Red lipstick is too much of a statement. I can see changing your lip color one or two shades or three shades most but too drastic. Just making the lips look too fake. You want to look more natural
