I’ve had better results with purple conditioner when it comes to remedying any brassiness. I try to stay away from shampoo. It’s strips the natural oils from your scalp, so I leave the conditioner in for like 15 min after towel drying it, then rinse it over the tub with my shower hose with warm water, finishing it off with cold water.
but if you want more icy silver tones, your hair stylist will probably have to keep the bleach in a little longer, and add the lightest toner, but considering your hair texture.. it looks a bit dry, I’d avoid that.
I want a ashy darker blonde, medium ash blonde that I had before. Would a purple shampoo do this?
I was thinking to get fanola blue shampoo for orange tones. What do you think?
No it will not.
The blue shampoo do you mean?
You asked if a purple shampoo will make your hair more of an ashy blonde. No it will not. This stuff doesn’t really do anything for me… to be honest.
Why use shampoo over conditioner anyway when you’re not suppose to leave in shampoo. You wash and rinse that out within a minute
You’re not going to get drastic results with this stuff… just like whitening toothpaste promises to whiten your teeth
Ashy blonde is darker. You’ll have to let your hair grow back out or dye it an ashy blonde then add highlights
Technically blue pigment cancels out orange, and the purple pigment cancels out yellow. But my highlights are more warm and golden then I wanted..
I’ll leave the purple conditioner in for an hour.. and I notice a dif but it’s temporary..
