How has your style changed over time?

Always been the same or have you gone through different phases?

When going through my old pictures it's kinda fascinating to see how things changed from one year to another.

Until the beginning of highschool my outfits were mostly basic and boring. Didn't want to stand out and most of it was chosen by my mom anyway. A lot of dark colours you could almost think I'm gonna turn into a goth.

Then at the beginning of highschool things changed completely. Thanks to puberty and a new friend circle I suddenly wanted to stand out and always be at my best. No more dark colours only, I dressed bold and colourful and started wearing many accessories. I wore a lot of uncomfortable or impractical stuff. It was more important to look hot or impress other people. This also caused me a bunch of arguments with my parents especially after they got a few times letters from school for not respecting the dress code

That lasted for maybe 2-3 years. Now my priorities changed and most important is that I feel comfortable in my clothes. Also stopped wearing many accessories. Overall I shifted more towards dresses. I just like in how many variations they come so as long as the weather is fine that's my first choice. If not I go for other comfy stuff like leggings and oversized shirt

Well at the beginning, I wore what I want. Then in like high school, I had my personal hide away hoodie. And I had that thing until like 2020. Only then, did i find my true worth and dropped my hoodie and now I can dress to how I want. And I'm better and slimmer than fat jerry over there.

I've got a more clear vision on how I want to look and the means to achieve it.

Most of the time I still look pretty suburban, mainly cause thats whats cheap to achieve, fairly comfortable, and won't draw attention.

But when it gets colder in the Fall and Winter I get to appear darker. But not dark enough to be edgy or emo if that makes sense.

I always prefer classic over fashion. I prefer value over cheap. That said I don't go anywhere anymore. No dates. No bars. No clubs. Most of my friends are married and busy or dead.

I have always just been into boho beachy summer earthy tones vibes for as long as I can remember. I've never been into urban fashion. I like classy and boho fashion for myself and boho fashion for girls.

Jeans used to be loose and baggy shirts used to be too.. now it’s more fitted

i think for girls it used to be low rise jeans now it’s all high waisted.
