Does this look faulty? I bought a down jacket online, it’s brand new and I only wore it twice and the seam has ripped?

I bought a very expensive down jacket. It’s expected to have fluff come out and you have to massage and push the fluff back into it. I tried to do this ask the feathers just frayed and made it worse. The store said they’ll send it to their repair team to see if it warrants a repair or to just be replaced. I’m a blonde 5ft 3 girl so I’m very worried they’ll try and get away with not replacing it. I’m really not happy with the fault as it’s an expensive jacket and I’ve worn this model and brand before brand new and never had issues. What should I say if they try and not fix or replace it?

Typical really. They're all like that which why I'll never wear a puffer jacket made of such awful materials. My wool overcoat has lasted me years and still looks new.

Yeah it’s a shame. As this one is meant for warmth but light to pack away. Never had that issue with the one I bought for my ex, I use to wear it and it was fine so must be a fault

Thank you, I did. I went to the store and they said it was fine but they shot themselves in the foot. They pulled out the fluff from the jacket which is against their guidelines and can damage it. I complained to head office and they are sending me a replacement

I know. I actually took it to the store yesterday and they PULLED out the fluff which they aren’t supposed to do so they are now replacing it
