By bold fashion sense I mean they can pull off red hair, blue hair, pink hair, piercings, tattoos and make it look good. While, on the other hand, the girl next door doesn’t really try but she’s still pretty.

That's not "bold" nor "edgy" anymore. I don't know why people keep repeating that it is. Those kinds of girls are a dime a dozen now. It was maybe bold back in the 80s.
