Why the F dont women's clothing have good pockets?

I was doing laundry, Yes i do my family's laundry and yes im a guy. Anyway, i was doing laundry, and i was emptying pockets, and noticed that on literally every pair of my wife's pants the pockets are either fake or like an inch deep or less. Im like WTF man. No wonder she's always complaining about them.

They're usually decorative. Jeans, for example, weren't initially designed for women. (Surprise.)

Now a few sun dresses have pockets bc the cellphones are around, but as a rule pockets make the finer fabrics that women's clothing is made of (so they cling and flow in the right places) don't look or flow as nicely if you add pockets. (Next time your wife's wearing a nice outfit check it out and consider then how it would look with pockets so keys and phones and wallets bulk up the area and mess with the feminine curve that draws your eyes to her in the first place...)

As much as I have seen a girl carry in a pocket is a credit card. Exactly about cling and flow though pockets in a sundress do have a contrary tomboy allure to the feminine dress.

struggled with that for some years… aside from jeans.. no pockets…
now they are making unisex looking outfits… lots of pockets… not my style and I hate them. It’s like wearing trashy baggy clothes or just a bag over their head.

I found a few summer dresses with pockets… so I have like 5 to go around..

we bought train tickets and it’s like 1x2 … I just put it in my dress pocket… while hubby looking for his ticket all over inside his backpack 😂

They're usually made to hug their skin and outline their figure more so than men's clothing. And the dresses are generally a lighter fabric that won't look as good with the weight on a smartphone making them droop straight down.

It's never really been a thing I paid attention to. Nor did I ever care about panty lines, that's a female invented thing. Most men do not care about either.

Hardly ANY have GOOD pockets anymore, just those mesh baggies. We have to buy Dickies or other old line brand to get durable stuff these days. I wore a brand new polyester golf shirt for the first time- three snags. arg.

Screws up the lines dude! Women dress to highlight their greatest asset--a hot body. You don't want to fuck that up with a pocket full of random crap.

This was really brought home to me when a girl at my previous job who had a SUBLIME ass was wearing jeans and she had a massive iphone jammed into her back pocket. I was like, "oh yeah--it's REALLY clear why they don't put pockets there! That's REALLY obstructing the view!
