Do you think you’re photogenic?

I’ve always noticed that some people look amazing in photos, while others say they look much better in person because the camera doesn’t capture them well.

Because even in grade school on picture day I would try to stay home and be sick that day but sometimes it wouldn't work and sometimes I would have to go to school but I wouldn't get my picture taken and my mom used to get so mad and she would call the school to make sure that I had my picture taken

But yeah I think I do look different in person versus in a picture and I have had friends they tell me to take off pictures that I have on my social media because it's not doing me any justice they said you don't look like that what is going on with you. So I don't know what it is I would like to say it's lightning but it's the same time it's still me but yeah I've never taken a good pictures before every once in awhile somebody will get a good picture of me and I don't know what's the difference is as a matter of fact I think I'll change my picture on here LOL if I can

Personally no not really, when I look at photos of myself I mentally compare myself to models and can be critical of things like my cheekbones or stuff like that, but my friends and family apparently think I am, because it is really common for them to pose me for whatever picture they are talking, for example, I am the one holding the thing they want a picture of somebody holding, or standing in front of the view or house or whatever they want a picture of somebody standing in front of.

I can look great on photos, but that doesn't mean it didn't take a few tries to take them. So it really depends on how you see it.

Some people are naturally photogenic, but most “good photos” come from practice. Knowing your best side, good lighting, relaxing your face and wearing colors that flatter you can change everything. You probably look better than you think; the camera just needs a little coaching 💁🏻‍♀️📸

I tend to be, like many folks, I guess, somewhat hit and miss when it comes to how complimentary the light waves that reflect from my countenance might be.

That being said, I don't shy away from my image being recorded for posterity.

I do. I didn't think I was, but looking back on pictures of myself in my twenties, I see that I was quite attractive and still am. My wife is also quite attractive and has been since she was a teen. People who meet us are surprised to learn our ages.

I appreciate the compliment. But that photo was one my 2nd ex took of me when I was 24. It was my favourite photo of myself for a long time. I don't have one as good as that. As I said... lighting and angles 😂

Nope. I've never seen myself in a photo and thought I was handsome at all. I see myself as average. Apparently thats not how women see me. It’s always been puzzling to me.

No. I get compliments on my smile, and that is probably because I rarely do, like full, on you know. I can't do it when it's for a picture, that posing, I can't, I hate it. I usually go for minimal effort.
