I've worked as a photographer for years, and I can say that being photogenic is hard to define. When I see top models in ordinary clothes and without make up, they are often surprisingly plain. Add the extras, though, and they are transformed. Girls that are naturally very attractive often look sort of "overdone" when they are photographed and photographers often don't use them. The best models are the ones who look fantastic and natural. They make it look easy, but it's a real skill, believe me.

Nope. I don't take many pictures of myself anyway. I don't really see the use of it. My mum forces me to pose for a few pics when I'm not dressed like a vagabond.. which is kind of rare because half the time, I don't go out much so I prefer to wear a hoodie and sweatpants.

I'm far from photogenic though. I look pretty in the mirror, but my iPhone camera sucks and I look like a fucking clown 🤣

I've had friends that I work with say how come you are picture on Facebook looks different from you pictures don't do you any favors and I agree I've always felt that way since grade school I never had my picture taken unless I absolutely had to and I'm still that way today and my friends are right I look completely different it's weird. How it works like that it was ever in your photo now she is she's very photogenic I mean she can talk to the camera

lol. Cameras hate me. IRL, I'm probably a 6. In photos, I'm lucky to be a 4. I'm always caught with a strange smirk or something equally unflattering. Cute photo of you, by the way.

No, not even a little, lol. I can't even do "fake smiles" in pictures, so most of my pictures look so... meh. And I really hate selfies! Probably why I don't take many pictures

Absolutely not, I rarely click pictures and all of the pictures I've of myself are almost all same just with different outfits. It's even hard for me to look normal in a group picture. I don't know why, but I even look different from everyone else somehow lol.

ehh i'd say kinda, but i have to be the one taking the picture. i just need to make a certain angle or something and be in a well lit room and about 1/5 of the time i turn out well (i consider 1/5 to be pretty good tbh).

Nope. Photographers and the DMV always act sympathetic when they take my picture and say, "Let's try that again," 2 or 3 times. My kids don't think I look like me in pictures (thank goodness).

Maybe you should work on your pose a little.
And me? 50-50. When I am relaxed and happy my photo face is completely different, but most of the time I get stressed about photos and I end up looking like an alcoholic junkie on them. :D

For an old guy, I wash up decently, as long as people see my right 3/4 view or right profile and not my left. I inherited a "cheruby" face from my mom's side, so people usually peg me about 4-5 years younger than I really am.

Yeah I’m photogenic, I look really good in photos lol. One time a guy told me I look better online🤣🤣 ouch. Some of the prettiest girls I know aren’t that photogenic, so I don’t know if being photogenic is a good thing.
