Would a world without makeup be more fair and reduce gender tension?

Makeup leads to a lot of problems (not exclusively of course) through sexual attraction (harassment, stalking, jealousy, disputes, cheating, insecurity, etc.). Those problems lead to even more problems like domestic violence and other life-threatening crime. And the benefits are superficial and temporary.

In the middle of thinking about this for some years, interestingly I found out The Book of Enoch (part of the Ethiopian Bible) says fallen angels taught humans forbidden knowledge to corrupt us such as, “(how) to make swords, and knives, and shields, and breastplates, and made known to them the metals of the earth and the art of working them, and bracelets, and ornaments, and the use of antimony, and the beautifying of the eyelids, and all kinds of costly stones, and all colouring tinctures.”

(It mentions fashion and jewelry too but I just want to talk about makeup for now)

Which made me wonder; what would the world be like if makeup didn’t exist even as a concept to us? Would it be better? More fair? Would we have less tension between the sexes? I suspect it would drastically reduce the problems mentioned above. And is it worth keeping as a thing we know and do?
