If a guy asked me to goto prom twice should I go?

I've only know this guy for five days and he's asked me twice but I don't know if he's joking or if he's serious, personally I think he is joking.

It's a girl's dream to go to her First Prom, and being you have only known him 'Five days,' by the time the Big Event rolls around you both most likely would have gotten to know one another a bit better, a bit Longer...
You're most likely over thinking that he May just be 'Joking,' so to relieve your mind, get together and discuss Seriously, face to face, About the Big Nite. He sounds Serious to me, he has "Asked me twice,' and to put this to bed once and for all, get to the bottom of it.
And if everything checks out, Start putting your plans together so you can rest easy, sweetie... That is if you have decided to accept his gracious offer of attending this Once in a lifetime Occasion with him.

Don't go with somebody you've only known for 5 days. He could be a total jerk and then you'd be stuck with a jerk for prom or worse have to leave your prom date and end up by yourself. If he was a decent guy he would have asked out somebody who he had known for a longer period of time.

i honestly think he decided to go with you even before asking you, he has sorta planned it , maybe he used to have a date but not anymore, besides you only know him for 5 days so maybe he was planning it you know!

How are you talking about prom? Isn't it in the spring which is about 8 months away? And he was probably joking because he doesn't really know you if you only met 5 days ago.

If it was me I would have been joking. Honestly if you want to go with him then ask if he was serious and make it obvious that you hope he was. If you don't want to go with him then I would just pretend he was joking and if he brings it up just say something like "I hope your joking". It would be nicer than keeping him wondering if you are going together.

Well... if you have just met him, its possible that he has a crush on you and feels he may get to know you better through this prom. He would be getting the best of both worlds because he could use 'prom' as a way to get to know you, without having to ask you out for a date directly and risk possible rejection (since you both hardly know each other).

If he was laughing the first time with the class, you know if it sounds like a joke, then he was kidding. If he wasn't laughing but instead more nervous and was smiling, then it was serious
