My crush says we have unfinished business???

Ok so I have a crush on this guy... So one day I spilled my guts and told him how I felt about him. Of course I wanted to crawl under a rock after that. I felt he so politely turned me down by barely responding to my mild love confession. Long story short we stopped talking for about two weeks. I thought it was just a done deal and decided to just let it go. Then out of nowhere he text me saying he was checking up on me and that we have unfinished business... Ok while I was very excited to hear from him. I wonder if he was either just bored that evening or if maybe he needed time to consider my confession and if he wanted to pursue me in the same way that I want to pursue him. What do you all think of this?

I think he had to consider the situation. He's probably very careful about how he engages relationships, even if it's with someone he knows very well.

However, if this was a text at 2 AM on the weekend, then it's not genuine.

Lol no it was about 7 pm on a wk day. We don't know each other very well either. We've known of each other for over a year but we have only become acquainted over the last 3 mths.

Well it's like a week later and I think its safe to say the comments made by my crush were not genuine. I texted him Sunday... no response. I gave it a few days considering the weekend and all... So texted him again (now Wednesday) saying What's up? No response. Guess he was just bored that night afterall :o(

The problem with text messaging, is that you never have a way gauge what the person is feeling when they send the message.

If it were in person, you would know what they were thinking. But even if he's just nervous, it would be best to move on.
