Please give me relationship advice! I'm losing sleep over this guy, and need to find a way to show him how I feel!!?

I have known this guy for quite a while and we've been keeping in touch (however, he is very slow at replying to texts) and have met up a couple of times, once with mutual friends and once with just the two of us. About a year ago I texted him telling him how a felt a little bit (quite vaguely as I have never had a relationship before and neither has he) and he seemed nervous and unsure, possibly about the distance between us. However, after that we met up together and I spent a few days at his house, during which I felt we got closer and he even put his arm around me when we were watching a film (just like they do on TV). He also seemed keen to introduce me to his friends, but I don't know whether he was just being friendly, or genuinely wants them to meet me. Serious help needed. How do I deduce if he likes me, or make him feel comfortable enough to tell me how he feels?

Obviously he's nervous, just like you are!!! I never dated before, so when I confessed to my crush, it took him 5 hours to get the words out of my mouth LOL.
It's really obvious that he likes you also. But I think you already analyzed most of the stuff. He likes you, but he's probably afraid of SOMETHING. Maybe like you said, it's only the distance between you, since he let you spend time with him at his house and even introduced you to his friends. He's also aware that you like him (lol you already said so), and there are a lot of reasons why he hadn't asked you out.
The reason why my crush and I aren't dating, even though we both like each other, is because we are still in school. And we are in freshmen high school, so we gotta get used to the amount of school work given first. Does he have anything that he has to focus on? Or family reasons? Or traumatic experiances with other girls before? Or maybe he just doesn't want a long distance relationship.
Tell him straight on. Tell him you like him, and you don't care about the long distance because you are falling deeper and deeper in love with him everyday. Just say a bunch of stuff to shock him, and the only thing that comes out of his mouth is "Whoa, that's really sweet..."

First, Long distance relationships don't work.

Second, guys are never "just friends" with girls. Tell him how you feel. He's attracted to you in some form, but you need to find out what.
