I’ve known this guy for years - from the same small town and have many mutual friends of friends. We would always be at the same bars / clubs when we were younger but we never spoke back then.
He is very handsome, I’ve heard so many good things about him and I wonder how he’s even single.
I have been single for 3 years and I’ve just turned 30 and I’m needing some advice on how to go about this.
I tried tinder about 2 years ago and I matched with him. I was too scared to talk to him on it and we never spoke.
Then around that time he followed me on Instagram and randomly added me on Snapchat. I had always had him on Facebook but I don’t really use that.
Anyway, he began liking my photos and I did the same.
He was drunk one night and messaged me on Snapchat saying that I was looking great these days.
I woke up to this message and replied to him but he got very embarrassed and kept apologising because he couldn’t remember what he said. We messaged back and forth that day and that was it. I told my friend who knows him and he said he’s not usually like that and said he must like me.
This was a year ago and a few months ago he asked my friend if I was single. But I haven’t heard from him and I have zero confidence to send him a message.
He still likes my pics, views all my stories and I do the same and I feel so silly. I feel so clueless about guys and how to even start another conversation with him.
He works away for 8 weeks at a time overseas, then is back home for only 2 weeks then he is away again.
