What are the signs a playboy gives when he's into a girl?

Here's the deal... There's this guy who is ... well a charmer! In his past he has been known to be a playboy! It's been a couple of months and I guess you can say we are friends. After several conversations he feels as if I used to be this player xp (I must admit I used to love playing games and have no strings attached relationships!) so we're always joking and having battle of the sexes debates! But recently I've been having this thing for him and I just wanted to know how I can decode his moves! So how does a guy that has been known to be somewhat prideful show his true feelings?

I myself am a reformed player. I still have the charm, all that but, after having my own heart broken before I will never be that way again. It's tough to see a guys true feelings unless you're face to face. It's much easier to be more open and expressive behind a computer screen, because there''s no way to really gauge a reaction. If he is sincere and has a really vested interest in you, he will care more about you than himself. The conversations will be geared toward him finding things out about you as oppose to talking about himself. Maybe he will ask you to talk in person, or have dinner with him, etc. Read his body language, see if he talks to you and looks in your eyes. Etc.

Thanks for your feedback! Well one thing I've notices for sure is that he ALWAYS wants me to look at him in the eyes and sometimes I get really shy and I avoid eye contact! We meet up sometimes to have hot chocolate at starbucks to study! He sometimes acts really goofy and silly and that really makes me crack up! But honestly I'm afraid to catch feelings since players seem to be quite arrogant and selfish and did I forget to mention self-centered! so in the beginnging we bumped heads alot!!!!

Eye contact is good. Self-centered, isn't. I'd sit down with him and discuss what you've heard about him. Of course his pride is going to take over and he is going to deny any such rumors you've heard. Read his body language. Explain to him that you are interested in him, but aren't willing to get involved with him if you're just going to be another number for him. make it hard for HIM to get YOU. "He who cares least, controls the relationship".

Right now we're just looking for friendships and we have clearly stated that in previous convos but I just wanted to know how I can decode his body language and not make a fool of myself by catching feelings ja ja ja! but I will take your feedback into consideration and he's also stated that I'm not easy!!! hmmmmm whatever that means to him! a playboy...make come off all confident...but inside he is battling demons and emotional problems/personality complexes. This may all come at the expense of you...when he tries to get you in bed. He's using reverse psychology to get in your pants. Playboys...are master manipulators...they know how to play a girl's feelings/emotions. If that's what you want to deal with then go for it...but if you want his true feelings, you see that he truly isn't the person you think he is.

What I meant was.....he'll seem all confident and fun on the outside, but once you truly get to know more about him, you'll find out that he's got issues that make him the way he is. Any guy who is extremely over confident and is a playboy, is trying to make up for their insecure, selfish and egotistical ways. let me know if you need more help.....cause I know some people like this. They are extremely predictable.

Lol...... it's like I'm clueless when it comes to playboys... but its so damn weird just last week we talked everyday.... he called me everyday which was a surprise .... so I called him thursday and no answer so I just shrugged it off. Now I saw him this weekend and we said hi but it was like if we didn't know each other!!!! I wish I could decode what his look and eyes are telling me!!!

I am in the exact situation. it is like the guy I am gaming is a male version of me. I don't know how to handle it and I am developing feelings for him. I realised that I can never really have sex with him, as that would mean that he 'wins' and that our conversations will no longer bethe same. it seems that these relationships have to remain a platonic flirty nature ... and if you're not in it for the conversation. don't waste your time.
