I'm really shy so I just worked up the courage to send my crush a friend request on Facebook, it's been a week since he accepted the request and I was wondering if I should send him a private message just saying hi or maybe post a like for an inbox, I doubt that he would like it anyway. I see him at school almost everyday but we very, VERY rarely talk, we've had like 3 conversations but it was awkward every time because I get so nervous I tend to act really really boring and uninteresting (even though I'm not). So I thought that it might be a good chance to speak it him on Facebook.

I just think of it like this: If you died tomorrow, would you, theoretically, regret not telling him you had a crush on him? If the answer is "Yes", tell him. I had a similar situation recently where a friend-of-a-friend messaged me one night. I just told her I've had a crush on her for years and we're going on a date next weekend.

If you don't ask, the answer is always "No". Remember that.

Don't try the private message cause it always goes to the other folder and the last time i read one was after half a year so message him after he accepts your friend request. Send a request again just to make sure he recieves it And best of luck !!! ^_^
